Apartment in historic city center

This 18th century apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon, in the Chiado neighborhood. It was refurbished with all the amenities to make you feel comfortable but we kept some original features in order to enjoy the historical character of the building, like the original shutters from the 18th century.
The air conditioning (hot and cold air), wi-fi, cable TV will allow you to always feel cozy.

Located on the second floor of a small building of the 18th century, consisting of only 3 apartments.

Good location and host

The location is very good. It can be a little noisy but not too bad and if you stay out later it’s ok. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean and had a what we needed

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful city.

The apartment is a great blend of old and new. Tons of character with all the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable stay.The location is great with lots of restaurants, shops and sights close by.Would love to stay here again on our next visit to Lisbon.

Perfect Location

The apartment was in a walkable neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do. Wonderful restaurants and wine bars close by. Loved our stay in this Chiado apartment!

Amazing spot in an awesome location!

This place was perfect for our family of 4. We have two young boys (3 and 5) and they loved sleeping on the futon ! The unit had AC and a washer which was soooo nice ! Perfect location, easy to walk to everything and a restaurant right at the lower level. Great, fast WIFI was a big plus. Loved this spot and hope to come back soon!!

Great Stay

Comfortable, clean apartment in a great location. Lots of character, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely bedding. We had everything we needed during our 5 night stay, with the bonus of a few English channels on the tv which was appreciated. Had a superb dinner at the restaurant directly below (Oficina), and ramen across the street at Lotus Ramen was delicious. Would recommend this apartment to anyone!

Wonderful stay

The apartment is exactly as shown. The location is great, walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and bars, and would definitely recommend the restaurant underneath. Previous reviews have stated the mattress was uncomfortable, the host must have changed it as the bed was incredibly comfortable. Some noise at night, but mostly people passing by, walking home from bars etc, so it is not prolonged and we still slept very well. Host is very quick to reply and we couldn’t have been happier here

The accommodations could not have been more suitable for our needs. The charming apartment allowed us to explore the core of old Lisbon with ease during our three week stay. Prime location!

Clean apartment in the heart of Chiado and central to great dining scene. A few steps from main stairs leading to Baixa. And a few blocks from a wonderful overlook. Sits above a nice restaurant. The apartment is great for a short visit but the furniture (see other review) and bed are not very comfortable which would be more important if we were to stay longer. The host was very responsive.

Nice place to stay

Wonderfully located apartment in the Carmo neighborhood. A restaurant downstairs. A coffee shop around the corner to the left and up the stairs. Restaurants and easy access to Rossi to the right and down the stairs. A mini market a few doors down. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Yes it’s 2 narrow flights up. There’s a washing machine and clothes lines and clothes pins.

Nice apartment in a great location!

We stayed for two weeks and loved it. The apartment was nice and clean. There were plenty of pillows, clean towels, blankets. The bed was comfortable. The owner was very responsive. Basically, everything we needed to be comfortable in the space. The location was really great -- very close to all of the places to walk. We really enjoyed the neighborhood. The one downside to be aware of is that the apartment was up two narrow flights of stairs. This was not an issue for us, but something to consider if stairs are an issue for you.

Christmas in lisbon

A brilliant stay in Lisbon at this property, lovely setting, spotlessly clean plenty of hot water, lovely linens, everything you could need in the kitchen. Great shower and the highlight was the 3 wonderful meals on the restaurant below, the brother of the owner. 5 stars magnificent food and the help on the last day to store our suitcases. We had a wonderful stay and we fully recommend. Our only suggestion would be please improve the mattress. As retirees it just wasn’t supportive enough. However this is a fabulous apartment. Would definitely come again.

Nice, historic apartment in a central location

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in the city center of Lisbon. The location is fantastic (as long as you don’t mind walking up some stairs). The apartment is comfortable and cool on hot days. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic! We went there twice during our stay, which is unusual for us. There are also plenty of other great restaurants in the area. We didn’t venture more than a few blocks for dinner each night. Since there are restaurants and a bar on the street downstairs, things were a bit loud on Friday and Saturday nights, but the window and shutters (along with our earplugs) dampened the noise enough to sleep. Overall, this was a great place for our stay and we are very glad that we chose it!

Great location in Lisbon

Great location in Lisbon. It's a hike from Rossio Square to the apartment: 240 steps not including the ramps. As long as you are in good shape, it's great. Fantastic restaurants along the steps and landings for great meals. Close to the train and Metro stations and the center of the city center. Complaints: On-demand hot water unit was giving error messages and not delivering hot water consistently. Attempted contact with the owner did not result in any reply. Still have not heard from owner.

The apartment is exactly like the pictures. A cozy, charming stay close to shops and restaurants. However I didn’t have to walk far because the restaurant in the building (Oficina do Duque) is amazing and the staff are friendly and go the extra mile I enjoyed 3 dinners here. You must try to Oxtail. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated. The owner is quick to respond and incredibly helpful. There is also an office that they will let you store your luggage if needed. It is a little noisy at night because of foot traffic walking by, but I put in my earplugs or music on and I was fine. It would be impossible to find a place in Lisbon without people around in the evening. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 💗 thank you for a wonderful stay

Even nicer than i thought!

Perfect location for my father(86) and me. Great location to get around town with wonderful restaurants and a Mirador nearby. I liked it so much i would surely stay there on my next visit. The restaurant below us was amazing as was the coffee cafe a few feet away. Thanks again!!

Ideal location for exploring City Centet

Location was ideal. So many historic sites and amazing restaurants within walking distance to the apartment. Owner was extremely prompt with responding to our questions. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great spot!
