The Saint Paul Hotel

"Hotel was amazing and beautiful. We loved everything about it. Only thing I would say is they should put somewhere that there is a $100 insidental charge when you check in. I looked everywhere to see how much the charge was and couldn't find it anywhere but that was it. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"First impression the hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The no staff at the front desk was very unwelcoming. Waited 15mins and called 2x to get someone down. Finally 45 min later we were able to get in our room but very cleaning the hot tub in thr room was awesome 👌! Ice machine was broke on the 1st floor and theres another one but its on the 2nd floor and I'm handicapped so that was a no go. Overall id give this hotel 4/5. Id come back for the value and cleanliness!"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Common areas of the hotel were well kept and clean. Felt safe and lots of staff in lobby to help as needed. Appreciated the small cafe for weekend, when most of downtown was quiet/closed. Close to riverwalk which was clean and had many bikers/runners. Bathroom in the room was in good shape, great shower. Towels could use a bit more substance/refresh. Furnishings in the room itself were showing wear and some surfaces could use a good clean (welcomed to my room with a handprint smear on the door, so not the best first impression). Overall, felt safe and reasonably clean for a few nights stay! If staying for a conference in this area again, likely would chose this location."

"Everything was great but I didn't get to use the water park area, because they close early on Sunday and aren't open on Mondays ("Back to school hours"). Not upset about it, just a bit disappointed. I wish I had checked before I went to dinner and people watching. I guess I'll have to go back to try the waterpark!"

"Second time guest. Really appreciate the beautiful and historic post office building it's created within. If you love architecture, this place is a gem. Yes, it's a further walk from the arena than other hotels, but it is still very doable. And what you are getting in return is a beautiful property. A HUGE room with a lounge area, private bathroom and the tallest ceilings you have ever seen. It is QUIET, So quiet. I don't know how they do it, but you don't hear other guest noises. It is CLEAN. I always feel safe. It is secured entrance by key card no matter the time of day. And a security guard roams the halls doing nightly checks and such. Free breakfast in a large sunlit room is always a bonus. My only tiny feedback would be that if you are late to breakfast cut off time, the food can be lukewam or even cold. But that is a ME issue for not getting up sooner. I didn't use the amenities on either of my two stays, so can't speak to the pool area or meeting rooms etc."
