"Historic old building, beautifully remade into small hotel. The bathroom for our room was across the hall, although still private. We were skeptical about this, but it worked out just fine. Outstanding personal service by owner--attentive and helpful. Our bed had a duvet on it and the room was hot during the night. We would have much preferred lighter blankets that could be layered. Location downtown in historic district. Nice breakfast and outside eating area. We recommend!"

"The inn is lovely and the room is very nice. It is an easily walkable distance to downtown Galena.Be aware there is traffic noise from hwy 20, but the owners provided a sleep-noise generator in the room which was very nice."
