What's not to like? This property beats the crap out of any chain hotel. Just a delightful place: the manager who greeted us was great, the continental breakfast was great, the building itself is charming and amazing and I hope I can keep coming back here whenever I come to Galena.

Rooms were gorgeous! Easy walk to Main Street. Nate (the owner) was very accessible. Lots of nice little touches around the room. Fresh towels were brought without asking and left in a darling basket outside of our room. Breakfast was decent with local sold items. Cute outdoor area to sit and unwind.

Staying at Hotel Galena was delightful. The rooms have retained the charm of an historic building with all the modern comfort and conveniences you may desire. And the bed was SO comfy. Our room was beautiful! It was clean and fresh. Everything was so close to downtown. The owner and workers were so friendly and accommodating. It felt like we had our own little apartment. We actually stayed in for a few hours and just watched some tv. It was that cozy and we could just relax for a bit.
