"Room had spider webs. Hair from previous guests on the floor. Rooms are dark. Staff was not helpful. Requested towels since cleaning staff removed old towels and did not replace. Told the front desk before leaving out to dinner. Returned with no change. Front desk response was he sent a message. "

The common area was lovely and allowed our family to play games and hang out in the evenings. We even used the kitchen one night to cook dinner and this was a great option. "This is a beautiful and very thoughtful hotel in Monteverde. The rooms are well laid out and each has an incredible view of the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. The balcony was amazing. The vibe of the hotel, its property and the area in general are very relaxing and peaceful. The staff are incredible and make the place so inviting. Breakfasts are included and delicious. We had all three of our dinners at the hotel and were pleased with the taste and variety. The jacuzzi is delightful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an upscale but not overly expensive (that's all relative today) stay in Monteverde."
