A beautiful property in a perfect location. The room was big, bright, airy, spacious and comfortable, quiet enough if windows are closed. It would have been useful to have instructions how to operate the automatic windows and blinds. The staff were efficient and friendly in all areas of the hotel; the bar, restaurant and reception - especially Dylan who was exceptionally helpful. There were quite a few steps to access the room once out of the lift, (about 18) so maybe not accessible to all. A minor criticism would be the headboard, which could do with a renewal perhaps. However, it was a wonderful stay and we would return.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. fantastic location, lovely room and such helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast in the beautiful garden is a must, and what a choice there was.All freshly prepared at the hotel, and beautifully presented. I would without hesitation, recommend this hotel, and hope to return.

The Clarance Hotel in Lille France is an absolute gem! They have only 27 rooms in this former palace. My room was gorgeous with so many unique historical details. Best of all, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff were gracious and the location couldn't have been better. I would definitely stay here again.
