Asked for a room upgrade on arrival & were given a room where the bathroom door only opened partially as hit bed, big chunk missing from toilet seat & managed to badly stop my toe on a metal door stop in bare feet! We mentioned all this as we left this morning & were offered a drink by way of compensation. Not useful at 8.15am. Didn’t mention during stay as only there for a couple of nights. Would we stay there again? Possibly as a last resort

Personal was perfectly nice and helpful especially with some trouble with a handyman from a neighbour House. I would return for a next stay thank you so much for this short but nice stay.

I liked the room. It has AC to keep It cool in summertimes and It the bed was suberb! But the shower was outdated. The showerdoorrailsystem was broken and you could often smell the sewage. Walking distance to the centra is a half hour. Also It is a quit hotel. Thus a good stay if you would make a city trip to Lille (and Kortrijk)!

The courtyard space is chic and delightful,the staff were wonderful and accommodating, the food was delicious andthe atmosphere relaxing. My toomwas a little dusty, the bin was broken, the shower cubicle cracked, broken toilet roll holder, no spare toilet rolland no remote. A little attention to detail and this place would be perfect.

I ordered a deluxe room, but I think I received a comfort one only based on the pictures. Hot water not very hot. And the nespresso machine not working properly. It's a pity because it's a really nice building.

Best Western Urban lille France

The Best Western Urban hotel and Spa, was not what I expected at first however My stay even though a short one was a pleasant one.The only real issue i had was that the time that i stayed there the jacuzzi was out of order. regardless the staff was very accommodating and helpful should I return to Lille in the future I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and. family. The BWUH&S is a little way out of the from the centre

We booked this hotel primarily for the secure parking as we'd driven. It's very easy to get to from the Euroshuttle. Our room was very small, but really we were only there to sleep, so didn't bother upgrading to a bigger room. One night we ate in the hotel which was reasonably priced, nicely presented and good service, although my husband's salmon was a little on the rare side. Another night, we ate at Layalina, a Lebanese restaurant about 10 minutes walk, which we'd very much recommend - there aren't very many restaurants in the vicinity. It's a good half hour to get into town, but the metro is about 5-10 minutes away, and the L1 bus is even nearer and fairly frequent.

Booked 3 rooms for a one night stay. Rooms were nicely styled but one of the rooms had a terrible smell in the bathroom. We reported this to reception straight away but there were no other rooms available. We were offered one free drink as compensation. The smell did not affect the bedroom as long as the door was closed but my son had to shower and use the toilet in our room as the smell in his bathroom was so bad. The other disappointment was that breakfast was served in a basement room and not in the beautiful dining room. Breakfast was poor for the money. If visiting again I would eat at a local cafe rather than the hotel.

No hot water in our bedroom, room very dark, no compensation offered in lieu. Receptionist brought us bathrobes and slippers to shower iin another room. The heating in this bathroom didn't work. Shower controls very flimsy. Obviously a maintenance problem. The staff was kind but not big on initiative. Positive point is the secure car park and good breakfast, lovely lady in breakfast room.

Take a nose peg!

The hotel room stunk of sewage, after opening all of the windows, it finally dissipated, in the morning opening the bathroom door the stench hit us as it was clearly coming from the drains in the bathroom. Not pleasant at all. The hotel staff allow people to park cars blocking other cars parked, so if you are needing to leave at 7am and you have been blocked in by another car, good luck finding who owns the car, getting in touch with them and getting to move their car otherwise your sitting ducks.

Bon accueil, mais chambre cata.

L’accueil a été très bien. L’hôtel est globalement propre. En arrivant dans la chambre, nous avons été atterrés de la taille du lit, de la chambre et la salle de bain. Impossibilité d’ouvrir la porte de la chambre entièrement, le lit (en 140) l’en empêchait, à peine possible de faire le tour du lit avec nos quelques affaires dans la chambre, grosse déception. Le sol grinçait, nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans le couloir et avons même senti le mur ou le lit était collé vibrer car notre voisin entrait dans sa chambre. Bref, nous ne sommes même pas restés et avons réservé ailleurs. En gros : des combles aménagées en chambres d’hôtel. Pour le prix, ça a un peu piqué. Mais je tiens à souligner l’accueil qui a été excellent, et la réception nous a proposé une autre chambre, mais c’en était trop. Comme un sentiment d’avoir été un peu trompés par les photos des chambres sur le site, qui ne sont en aucun cas révélatrices de la réalité.

Alors que j avais réservé l hôtel pour le parking inclus, ce dernier n était pas disponible pendant ce we et l hôtel n a pas prevenu (alors même qu un texto de pre enregistrement a été envoyé...). Les chambres sont correctes mais l'insonorisation est mauvaise. Je ne reviendrai pas dans cet hôtel et ne le recommande pas. Visiblement il y a un super resto que je n ai pas tente du fait du premier sujet
