Family road trip a good night

We really like the B&B format. There duplex rooms are great for families. We only stayed one night but it was good and the location of this one is great for fast food etc.

Double Charged for the Room

Booking paid in full at the time of booking with Hotels.com. The itinerary number was not recognised by the hotel through their automated check in, so had to call their help desk on arrival. Then we were charged the full room rate again on check in, so have now paid twice for the room. Hotels.com seen to be unable to secure a refund from the property. This is the 2nd booking of a French hotel with Hotels.com that had been a disaster, so I will not be joining any further trips with them.

It's not best location for Lille but staff, price, cleanliness make up for it. 15 mins into town centre €35 in zn Uber. The receptionist couldn't be more helpful, she was amazing. Thank you for making it a great vacation.

What atracted us to this hotel was the room layout with the two beds upstairs above the bathroom, however, it was so small, stairs were steep and narrow, very difficult to move around, the walls were thin and we could hear people nextdoor having normal conversation. I guess it's what a budget hotel looks like, but for £10 extra we stayed in absolute luxury compared to this.

Not an enjoyable experience

This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp.

Self check in facility. I paid for the room well in advance and the self check-in counter did not let me check-in without paying again. We didn’t have any other option since it was late night and had to proceed with paying twice. Room was very small with beds literally filling the whole room and no space at all for the luggage- we are just talking about small bags not big bags.

J’ai passé une nuit dans cet établissement, qui m’a laissé une impression plutôt mitigée. L’hôtel est visiblement vieillissant, et cela se ressent aussi bien dans la décoration que dans le confort général. À mon arrivée, l’accueil était fermé, et je n’ai eu aucun contact avec le personnel, ce qui donne une impression assez impersonnelle. La prise en charge s’est faite via un automate, ce qui peut convenir à certains, mais reste décevant pour ceux qui apprécient un accueil humain. La chambre, quant à elle, est petite et peu pratique pour se déplacer. J’y ai eu froid durant la nuit, et la literie mériterait vraiment d’être renouvelée. La moquette est usée et devrait être remplacée. Le Wifi ne fonctionnait pas du tout, ce qui est regrettable, surtout pour un séjour professionnel ou pour rester connecté. La salle de bain est également très exiguë. Le lavabo, dépourvu de bouchon ou de système de retenue d’eau, oblige à laisser l’eau couler en continu, ce qui n’est ni pratique ni écologique. Le seul vrai point positif de mon séjour reste le petit déjeuner : copieux, savoureux, et bien présenté. Un vrai moment de plaisir dans un cadre sinon assez décevant.

Pour un hébergement d'entrée de gamme, j'ai trouvé l'offre parfaite, tout était très propre et avec une déco pop moderne sympa. Les chambres ne sont pas immenses et pour ouvrir sa valise, mieux vaut il le faire sur le lit, mais on ne peut pas non plus en demander plus à ce tarif. en 8 min nous étions à l'aéroport de Genève. top!

Cold room

Room was quite cold when we arrived. I had to switch on the heat pump on my own and it took all evening to get warm. For the rest it was ok, similar to other B&B. Very small shower.
