This charming detached house, built in the traditional local style with thick stone walls, is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing stay in a typical Lake Como village. Nature lovers, trekking enthusiasts, couples, and families will find their ideal getaway here, in a peaceful setting surrounded by greenery. The house is enclosed by a beautifully maintained large garden, with a path that circles the entire property, offering quiet corners to relax. A private driveway allows you to park one car inside the property. There’s space for two apartments only, and the spot is assigned to the first who requests it.

The location is strategic for enjoying the best of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Just a few minutes away by car or on foot are two of the lake’s most beautiful beaches: Punta di Grumo and Riva Bianca , perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun. The nearby Lierna train station makes it easy to reach the house even without a car.
For trekking and walking enthusiasts, the famous Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer’s Path) starts right behind the house — a panoramic trail along the lake that offers a great way to explore local villages, nature, and history.

This apartment, accessed via five steps from the entrance, offers a charming, authentic atmosphere with vintage furniture and decor. A hallway leads to the first bathroom, equipped with a sink, toilet, bidet, and shower. The first bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, and a wardrobe.
The spacious and bright kitchen features a large decorative fireplace and a vintage wood-burning stove (non-functional), which adds a special touch of history and charm. A dining table for six is ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, and two refrigerators. The south-facing window offers a pleasant view of the lakeside houses and a glimpse of the lake.
The living area is large and cozy, with an additional single bed that serves as a sofa, a large table for six, a TV, and traditional wooden furnishings typical of Lake Como homes. From here, you can access the second bathroom, which features a bathtub, bidet, toilet, and sink.
The second double bedroom includes a large 1960s wardrobe, a bookshelf, and a small terrace with a wisteria vine that provides shade and coolness on warm summer days.
The apartment was recently renovated with care to preserve its original charm: wall paintings and decorative friezes from the 1950s and '60s, antique furniture, and a vintage sewing machine in the living area all contribute to an authentic, nostalgic ambiance.
The thick stone walls naturally keep the house cool, while the bathrooms, conveniently located near the bedrooms, can almost be considered en suite.
