Lovely hot shower. Well equipped kitchen.

Shame about the soft mattresses in the twin room.
Otherwise faultless.

"Nice big property in centre of Middleham - gateway to Wensleydale. Large rooms sleeping up to 6 and large social kitchen area. The gem is the garden offset from house which is a sun trap all day long, We were lucky with weather and made full use of this ! Recommended property."

"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"We stayed as 2 adults and 18 month old and found facilities great. Its abit tired in places and family changing room at swimming needs a good clean. The room was hit as we were on top floor but its an old building and we had nice weather.Breakfast was lovely and we will be back"
"Incredible stay at The Saddle Rooms.
Easy check in with very helpful staff. Treated to a lovely twin room named 'The Pretender ' (all rooms named after famous racehorses) with my son.
Attention to detail wonderful. Amazing large bathroom with true waterfall shower. Comfortable beds and air conditioning/systems that actually worked.
We had dinner which was worth every penny. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful too.
Gorgeous setting - stone built properties. Courtyard. Grounds stunning.
Being on the Tupgill estate by the incredible Forbidden Corner was a bonus too.
I've stayed in a number of places around the world and I can honestly say this could be in my top 5."
"Lovely stay for our golden anniversary celebration very help staff in all departments .I enjoyed the spa facilities and friendliness of people in the hotel who also helped us celebrate by sharing a drink with us would recommend hotel to friends
Thank you"
"Staff were really friendly. Hotel was beautiful, as was our room except for the carpet. Stained pink in places and brown spots, told reception as was worried staying with two teenage boys they may have thought it was us! Lady was extremely apologetic and informed me that she would let the managers know. There were also sweet wrappers under the bed which were not ours. Spa looked beautiful, but more for couples/adults relaxing so decided against ruining the vibe with teenage boys! Would visit again with friends or husband though. Restaurant again was beautiful, it did take 45 minutes for our starter to arrive but I think they were short staffed and lady was doing her very best. Once did arrive, food was lovely, as was breakfast. Would stay again as location excellent, staff friendly and think just got a bit unlucky with the carpet as the rest of the room was beautiful especially the bathroom."
