What a lovely gem of a hotel - loved our stay here, even for just the one night. We had a room at the very top of the Marshall building. A lot of stairs to get to it, and the only regret was packing a heavy suitcase. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous and well appointed. One day I will be back for another stay.

First rate inn in quaint town
We had an older room which had been fully updated with tasteful designer details. Th beautiful bathroom was immaculate and the heated floor and towel rack much appreciated.

Best Hotel in Lexington
Very friendly and paid attention to their guest. General Manager very nice and made an effort to do meet and greet with his guest. Located in a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely return again and they are a 5 star plus place to stay

Loved the whole experience!
Amazing experience! We will Defiantly stay here again next time we come to town! I think the best place to stay in town with restaurants, classy bar for a cocktail, breakfast all on Main Street of town.

Updated historic gem of a hotel
This is a gem of a hotel in a quaint, historic town. Loved how they've kept some of the historic features, while updating the bathroom and providing wonderful beds/pillows and bedding. The included breakfast was made to order and the on-site restaurant did not disappoint. I highly recommend The Georges.

A surprisingly quaint and high quality location. The staff was some of the best, the amenities where fantastic and most importantly for me it was spotless. Truly they hold themselves to a very high standard and I highly recommend.

We had a delightful stay! 3 suggestions: Because of the downtown location, early morning street noise is inevitable. Suggest making earplugs available. The digital clock radio in our room was not set property and wasn't easy to rest. The TV Remote would not change channels from the bed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing is that the restaurant and bar at the hotel is closed on Sundays, but everything is walking distance so we found another place to dine at.

Ideal stay!
A king bed room was not available when I reserved so we had to settle for a queen room on the attic level. Although the stairs were a hindrance, our room was nice and we slept like babies. The coffee in the lobby was ready for us early risers and the breakfasts were perfect! Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The Georges will be our Lexington home when we return.
