This is our first stay at a VRBO (or anything other than a hotel or realty managed beach rental), so I have nothing to compare it to. It is a cute loft with a large bed and minimal amenities. The bed was firm but comfortable enough for a couple of nights.
There is a small refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishes, however there was no dish liquid to clean the dishes so I had to buy some.
Furnishings are farm eclectic and comfortable.
The towels smelled stale (not sure if this accurately describes it - just not fresh and clean - again, I'm used to hotel linens) and the shower is extremely small. I'm only 5'2" and my elbows hit the walls while washing my hair.
The loft is above a garage that is located adjacent to the owner's house (I didn't notice a house next to it in the pictures online). Also, the garage is used by the family so there is sometimes noise and activity going on below and around the garage. We were gone most of the day hiking and touring local sites, so we were only there in the evening and overnight - the latest we heard noise in the garage was 8:30pm.
The stairs leading up to the loft are a bit steep - I would have liked a gate at the top to keep my dogs in the loft area while we went out to dinner (and for safety if you are traveling with a toddler).
My husband and I noted that it would have been great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful mountain views, but there is nowhere to do that and they cannot be seen from the loft. There are two small windows - one overlooking the owner's house and one with an air conditioning unit in it.
I would say that if you are looking for a place to stay overnight while you are busy during the day, this place has eclectic charm and serves fine as a place to lay your head.
