It is a pet, friendly hotel, however, guests were holding their small dogs in their arms over the food tables at breakfast time. That was very unacceptable.

A/C didn’t work in our first room.. but the staff stepped up and even on a busy weekend with a wedding happening at the hotel they were able to move us to a new room! Staff was super responsive and respectful! Breakfast had good options and the bar food was great! 9/10

Hotel itself located in really nice area. Hotel seems sort of old but very nice. But what i didn't like in there is AC - it's very loud, sort of making impossible to sleep with that noise . And another issue - smell in room very strange, especially when u just entering room.

The property is very nice, good breakfast and good staff. However, it’s very outdated and if you’re a light sleeper, do not count on getting any sleep unless you’re on the highest floor. We had a room on the first floor and could hear the people above us all night. With every move they made we would wake up. Also I suggest bringing your own pillows because the ones they provide are very flat.

I stay here frequently. It goes through changes often. Some good and some not good. Staff works hard at keeping rooms clean and outside nice. Lots of noise comes through the floors so try to get a room with no one above you or you may hear a lot you’d rather not hear. Breakfast is very nice.

Great location and views of the river. Rooms are a good size. Price is reasonable for what you get. There is a great restaurant across the road: Griffon's Brewery. The town of Lewiston also a nice place t o walk and shop. We'll be back.

My room had six huge black flies buzzing around I no it. When I arrived at the property there was no one there to check me in so I waited in the lobby for 20 mins. I checked out 25 minutes late and was charged a $50 fine. Hotel is in a lovely location and the breakfast was great and staff very friendly but flies in my room and then being fined really put a damper on the experience. I didn’t fine them for not letting me check in when I wanted to.

Hello Tara, upon viewing your reservation, you were not charged a 50 fee for late check out. The only charge was a 50 incidental which you will see refunded back to you on your next bank statement. Very nice hotel....lobby is beautiful....our room this time was a little outdated and fins in front of AC were very dirty. Otherwise room was very nice and bed and bathroom were good. Outside, the steps down to the Lower parking lot need to be fixed up or replaced with something safer. In general it's a nice place and I will stay again.

This hotel was amazing. We had a beautiful king bed riverview suite. When we checked in the front desk was friendly and kind. Our suite was clean and spacious. We had a fireplace, two TVs, sitting area, and generously sized bedroom! The bathroom had a seperate shower and a bathtub. The have a 24/7 convenience store area in the lobby and a very nice free breakfast. It is a 30 second walk to the river, and there are a variety of amazing restaurants within walking distance. We chose this hotel because it was about 15 min outside of Niagara Falls. The price is lower being outside of the main tourist area. Be advised this is a older hotel, but the friendly staff, cleanliness, and charm of Lewiston make this place amazing. They also have a spa which we did not visit so i can not review but it looks lovely, and they host weddings and parties. There is also a bar in the lobby, which we did not visit. We did hear some music from the banquet hall below around midnight on a Saturday however we have a toddler, so we do not mind the noise too much! This a great for families with kids who want to run and play in the room and enjoy their vacation. Overall, historic hotel on the river, quick drive to Niagara Falls, clean rooms, free breakfast, good for family time.

I would give this property a six star if I could. It was clean, breakfast great including eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles and more. I couldn't say enough to praise this hotel. What makes it an eleven is the staff. Nikah and Debbie were the best being friendly and helpful. I would definitely would recommend them.

Mostly everything was either excellent or good. The main difficulty was noise from room directly over ours. In short footsteps overhead seemed to sound as if they were going to come through the floor at any moment and so it was rough getting a good nights sleep. This was not our experience per previous stays.

Rooms are very musty and have a strange smell. Needs a deep clean and proper ventilation. The doors in the halls are all marked up and walls scuffed. The hotel has huge potential but the owners are not obviously putting the needed money into the property. Make some small changes and the value added will be huge. If 2 guest walks into a room and both comment immediately on the "musty" smell, there is an issue.
