"Very clean room, larger than I expected. Free breakfast in the morning which had tons of variety, hot pancakes, and egg/cheese omelettes. Much better than what I expected for a free breakfast. Staff was very helpful and kind.."

"Historical manor house that has been converted to a boutique hotel. Some of the room's furnishings and fixtures could be updated and upgraded in quality while keeping to the historical sense. The room and common areas feel a bit basic when the actual building holds a lot of history and character. It wouldn't take much to take this hotel from good to excellent- to start: greater intentionality in selecting period appropriate art and furniture, and creating a lounge space for guests in common areas (with sofas or conversational chairs instead of breakfast tables) would improve the guest experience. Room was clean and the breakfast, though also basic, was good. Excellent location in town with the downtown walkable. Good value for money (as everything is expensive in this part of the world it seems). No amenities to speak of. Parking on site was easy."

"Great property. Secluded cabin next to a babbling brook in a lovely wooded setting away from the main road. Everything was in great condition. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again."

"Stayed here while visiting Vermont, Stowe & Woodstock. It was a great base area. Hotel was great, beds were comfortable. One site dining was good. The is little to no nightlife in the town and everything does close early. But good coffee shops and the whole little town is walkable. Very cute town."

"Everything was great! Even with the fall noreaster, only a little rain at the bear cabin. The hot tub was great. The bed was comfy. Internet worked great when we wanted to use it.Hope to be back!"
