Fabulously located house, near The Ship Inn, beaches, the Main Street and walks all around the coastal pass. The sun trap conservatory and the views from it are so special, we'll be back.
This lovely house and location are 5 Star. The house is comfortable and clean and everything was perfect for our week’s holiday. We’ve stayed twice now and will be back most definitely!!
This property was great for our family of 4. Plenty of space, clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect for walk ability to good food and cute shops. Great location for day trips in all directions.
Great apartment with excellent views across the bay. The house was very well equipped with everything you may need. Excellent position close to all the amenities in Elie. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Nice property, well equipped with a great view and lovely places to sit inside and out. Very convenient for beach, water sports, pier, pub and shops. Highly recommended.
Thankyou for a fantict stay in your holiday home. We found it very comfortable, perfect location and an amazing views. We spent so much time in the Sun-room. Lovely comfortable beds also. xx
Such a lovely house, with an especially beautiful lounge and window seat over looking the sea. Basic bedrooms, but had everything we needed. We would love to stay again. Great communication with hosts throughout.
Beautifully quaint but modern house steps from beach, local businesses and fine dining. Fabulous view of tide going in and out. On the ocean front walk to the lighthouse and Lady’s Tower. Fully equipped kitchen and updated main bath with shower. A place and town one could return to year after year.
Having stayed here last year we knew what to expect, a well equipped house, ideally situated with breath taking views and it did not disappoint. After some initial problems with the central heating we enjoyed our stay. I have to say that throughout the issue with the central heating the owner kept in touch and tried to have the issue resolved in the quickest time.
Lovely ground floor apartment in an excellent location close to the beach and steps from the nearest pub. Nicely proportioned living room with log fire and bay window overlooking the sea. Good sized kitchen with everything you’d need for self catering and a table to seat 4 people. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly fine.
Kate communicated really well and made both the booking and checkin processes easy.
We plan to return again. Highly recommended
Kate our host was very friendly and super helpful. Her home was as per its photographs .. really homely, comfortable and clean, we enjoyed our stay. She gave us without us asking good recommendations for places to eat and suggestions re things to do in the area .I chose the house for its wonderful views of the sea and its sunny aspect. The weather was the only thing that failed to accommodate us while we were there but it was early February and you can’t depend on the weather. Never the less we both throughly enjoyed our most relaxing stay and Kate’s home.We will return as it would be a lovely place to visit with our grandchildren in nicer weather as it’s right on the beach. Thank you both Kate & Cameron for being so invested and attentive. Your 5* are well deserved.
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at The Dalmore. The house is beautifully updated, well-appointed, and offers stunning water views. One of the highlights of our trip was spending each morning with our young boys watching the tide come in, a truly special experience. The location in Elie is fantastic, with great restaurants and shops nearby and easy access to the coastal path. The scenery is beautiful, the people are friendly, and everything we needed was conveniently close at hand.We did have one minor issue with the central heating, but the host responded incredibly quickly and was extremely helpful. The problem was resolved immediately, which we greatly appreciated.Overall, it was an outstanding experience. We highly recommend both The Dalmore and its host to anyone visiting Elie, Fife, and would happily stay here again.
