"Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, beautifuly decorated rooms with great bed linens and bath products. The host, Kurt, is so gracious and helpful with tips on things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We could not eat breakfast the second day because of our flight time and Kurt made us breakfast to go and left it in the fridge for us. Everything is so well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Truly a 5 star place to stay! "

"I had a very short stay but was made to feel very welcome by my host. The breakfast in particular was extremely good and it was a shame I was not able to accept the kind gift of some homemade apple juice as I was leaving (traveling hand luggage only)."

"Broecham was a perfect location for our family of three to travel and see family members around Belgium. There was a wonderful nearby restaurant, Antoine’s, with an amazing chef. The home was lovely, Jan was very nice and helpful."

"This is a nice bed & breakfast. My room was on the ground floor, near to the entrance hall which meant I could hear other guests coming and going. The door wasn’t exactly soundproof, the curtains didn’t quite close but overall it’s a good place to stay. Breakfast was adequate and the hosts were pleasant enough."

"The people were very nice but the smoke was bad. VERY bad. For a non-smoking room it smelled continually of cigarette smoke. The bed was not comfortable. Based on the smoke I would not stay again."

"Noisy neighbour talking all night. Good price. Close to the airport. No air con or ventilation. Kitchen included , perfect with cutlery and fridge. Clean."

"Our experience has been amazing, really friendly and kind. The room is spacious, perfect for couples and/or family. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Also the position is good with a parking, so you can take public transport easily to visit Brussels."

"Overall considering Brussels high prices this is a good value option, with some issues. The main ones being their check-in and checkouts policy. They only allow you to check-in very late and if you want to actually meet somebody within a tight 2 hour window. I think they might have the option to check in without concierge but that's a risk and I have had bad experiences in the past with other properties. Facilities are a bit dated especially the bathroom and bed had a mattress too thin and soft...

"Would avoid staying at this place. There was no hot water. The living area had terrible seats (2 very uncomfortable wooden seats). There was no doors in the place - not even on the bathroom! Contact was impossible with those in charge. "

"Walking up four flights of steep stairs to access our small room with no heat, no refrigerator, no hot water and zero water pressure was just the beginning of this nightmare. Tried to communicate with host about our displeasure to no avail. Outside temperature was below freezing and room was barely above freezing. Apparently the bottom floor is somewhat of a shared area with a stove etc but definitely not something I would want to share with others. Would not recommend"

"Satisfactory accommodations but small. A bit difficult to communicate with staff arranging arrival, parking, etc., very limited hours when staff is present to answer any questions."

"I think it's comfortable, clean, and in a good location. I think check-in could be better, currently it's only between 4-6pm which is super difficult but the proprietor accomodated me at 2:30pm. The room was clean but the shower head was broken and the bed was ok."
