A perfect stay
We had a wonderful time at Mary Naoise Holiday Home. We were a group of cousins who came from near and far for a family reunion week. The house is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Great shower and plenty of nice towels. Easy access to everything in the most picturesque setting. We all hope to return in the future!!

Unbelievable holiday, fantastic host
A week in Donegal in February 2022? Well we had two storms back to back, Dudley and Eunice and had rain daily, which knew to stop as soon as we got to the beach, and even the snow or the storms didn’t stop us. This will go down as one of the most enjoyable holidays ever. The directions from our host, Marian, took us right to the door. Marian was there to greet us with her lovely Scottish accent and a warm and pleasant manner. The house was simply amazing and had everything we could need, even toys for our youngest. We all felt immediately at home from home. Marian is the single most generous host I’d ever come across. She had a warm house with a lovely fire going, a delicious kind sized apple tart and a massive bowl of cream that lasted us three days, bottles of red and wine and a tin of fresh baked scones, milk and butter for us. Who does that? The house was 2.5 miles from an amazing expansive beach of golden sands, and we went there every day for walks and running on the beach. We hit Elliott’s bar and Packie’s bar, both worth a visit with friendly hosts. The house is a mile off the main road up a scenic drive of lakes and snow capped vistas. We were equi-distant and only 15 minutes drive from Glenties and Dungloe with plenty of food shopping and good places to dine out. I recommend McCafferty bar and restaurant in Dungloe and Highlands Hotel in Glenties but would add that we mostly cooked at home in Mary Naoise. Thanks so much to Marian.
