"This is not a typical hotel that you walked in to a lobby instead it has various cabins with great views of the mountains around. You can walk to the lake within 2 minutes. The staff is also very helpful. We stayed one night for a family trip and overall everything was great. "

"Fabulous hotel, 5 minute walk to lake front, lovely quiet location, great pool, lovely breakfast, friendly staff. Great value! We stayed in junior suite with our 2 teenage kids and it couldn't have been better."
"withput doubt the property has a 5 star view and location but it does not have a 5 star service. Some elements are strucutral - for example one lavatory for 8 people on the first floor and a sheer cliff surrounding the garden where fototballs are lost ( a fence would be good). Notwithstanding we found the service not up to standard. We were without hot water for four days which given there was a 7 month old baby was a trial. When the sink blocked - which we were warned about, again it took 2 days to rectify and despite paying for cleaning, the cleaner only changed the linen after the first week. The welcome pack was parsimonious to say the least and not refreshed after the first week so we had to buy toilet paper and washing up liquid which felt a bit mean given there was no reduction in prcie for 2 weeks. Given the stunning architecture, the fittings were ikea which felt wrong and the hanging space in the penthouse was risible.We did enjoy our stay there as the spaces worked perfectly for this extended family but I think, with the exception of the lavatory issue, some small adjustments would make a huge difference and bring it up to the 5 stars that it deserves."

"The place was amazing! So convenient and unique. The parking was a bit of a mess. They instructed us to park in the designated parking area where we followed instructed signage. We received a ticket the day before we departed. When we asked the host why, they replied that they just changed the parking rules (we were not informed) and there was nothing they could do about the ticket.The lack of communication regarding the changes in rules for parking was disappointing. Everything else was a breeze. "
"We LOVED our stay at Chalet Christine. The hotel has a perfect unimpeded view of the lake and mountains, creating a zen relaxing experience, and the pool and jacuzzi add to the relaxing vibe. Breakfast was perfect, the room was gorgeous and comfortable. Elodie at the check-in desk was incredibly kind and friendly, she gave us great advice on what to do around the lake and helped us get reservations at an amazing restaurant. I hope to come back soon! "The location of the apartment is fantastic if you don't want to be in busy Annecy but if you're looking for a quiet getaway this apartment may not be for you. It's across the road from the lake so the outlook over the lake is absolutely stunning however the road between the apartment and the lakeside is really quite busy with traffic so there is a lot of traffic noise right through until around 9 at night. In addition, while we were there, it was unusually hot weather and the afternoon and evening sun beams across the lake into the apartment. Yes, you can open up the doors onto the balcony but then you get the road noise. The apartment was well appointed however we were unable to use either the washing machine or the coffee machine as each was apparently out of order. So, in summary, a great location, a beautiful outlook but it wasn't without negatives. "
