Breakfast was tasty, and the TV setup was awesome. My partner especially loved all the features and amenities it had. What I loved is the whole place was in a peaceful, quiet area, and the neighborhood was scenic and felt really safe. What really stood out was how friendly and helpful everyone was. The staff were incredibly responsive and genuinely kind—it’s rare to feel that kind of hospitality, and we really appreciated it. Overall, it was such a refreshing experience. Paul and David have created a perfect house and garden which made for a lovely, relaxing holiday.Paul and David are excellent hosts, available with help and advice, but equally respectful of your privacy.Each bedroom has its own charm, all are very comfortable and clean.The house is well stocked with everything you could need, from spare deodorant to herbs and spices. Having the option of a meal prepared and served by Bruno and Giovanni is a real treat, we had a lovely dinner to celebrate my 50th. Do ensure you have an SUV and purchase the extra insurance as the “road” to the property is very bumpy, but it adds to the experience! The pool and outdoor lounge area are stunning. Gecko watching in the evening with a glass of wine was bliss! A simply perfect holiday location! "

"We would rate this hotel almost excellent, our room was very comfortable and serviced twice a day. The grounds and pool are beautiful, effort towards sustainability is evident. Service was sometimes slow and our drinks orders were incorrect a couple of times but no big deal. We booked a couple of ‘experiences’ the wine tasting was cancelled an hour before start time. The romantic meal was a bit disappointing in our opinion, the space and views were gorgeous but the location meant the food arrived cold, and long gaps between courses. The aperitif in the field was excellent, the views are stunning, could have done with something other than bread and nuts to eat, maybe add cheese and meats?! Overall we loved the resort, staff were friendly and ideal for a couple wanting to spend a few days in a secluded location. "
