"The good: - The location in the middle of the island is ideal. The surrounding beaches are spectacular. However, access to the nearest beach requires walking through another property across the street. - There were plenty of towels and lots of beach gear provided.- The kitchenette was great for prepping small meals and snacks for the toddler in our group.- The owner was very responsive. The power went out a couple of times because of island-wide blackouts and we locked ourselves out once. We received immediate responses whenever we reached out.Room for improvement:- The pictures seem a bit dated. Though the space was clean, there is significantly more wear and weathering on all the furnishings. We also had a heavy rain during our stay and there was a puddle of water on the floor in both bedrooms. - The internet was not very reliable. And we had no cell service in the house.- While insects are expected in this setting, it would have been nice to have a zapper or swatter to get rid of flies and mosquitoes when we settled in for the night. We were covered in bites after just 3 days. There also appeared to be some sort of seasonal infestation of termites because of the rain. There were dozens of them in both rooms. It was very unnerving at night."

"The room was clean and well stocked. It is across from the beach with a beautiful pool that is well maintained. I loved that it had a full size refrigerator, stove, dish washer, washer and dryer and the other items you would need in a kitchen along with a coffee maker and coffee! It is walking distance from the grocery store, some restaurants and the liquor store. We stayed another night we liked it so well. Great location for day trips to other parts of Eleuthera!"

"Perfect central location on the island. Granted, it's an hour and a half drive to each end, but if you are stopping at beaches, etc along the way as you're exploring the island it won't seem so far. 5 min drive to GH for dining and groceries. Tippy's is a great spot and very close by. Easily walkable down the beach when the tide is lower. Better to drive down at night. Favorite restaurants were Tippy's and Buccaneer Club. Absolute best spot on the island is Glass Window bar and grill next to the bridge. Great food, amazing owners and the view is breathtaking. Visited for my 50th birthday and we stopped there directly from ELH airport. They weren't going to be open that day, but when I told them I was coming for my 50th they opened up for me! Ten Bay beach was our favorite beach. We were there during a very windy week, so the ocean side beaches were pretty rough. Still beautiful, just not the calm waters that the Caribbean side had. Now for the house.. everything was clean and well appointed. The pool area is great and a nice break from the windy ocean side. Beach area was beautiful and private. We never got a chance to use the kayaks due to the water conditions, so having car straps for them would have been ideal so we could transport them to calm waters. One of the 4 beach chairs was broken, but there's also big lounge chairs that can be carried down to the beach if you're strong enough as they're quite heavy. The water dispenser was nice since a local told us not to drink the tap water. Master bed and bath were great. Bed was firm but comfortable. The other couple with us said their bed was not comfortable due to feeling springs in it. Hewitt, the manager ,and his son were great. Cut down coconuts for us one day. The power went out once and Hewitt came over within 10 mins when I text him and got the generator turned on. The owner even came by a couple times and was very kind and engaging. We played cards many nights at the dining table. We didn't use the sofa much because it was very uncomfortable. The cushions are odd and slant down/slide off so it's awkward to sit on. Other than that everything was perfect! Wish the weather had been better, but we enjoyed our time there! Would definitely stay again."

"Snorkeling, stars and sunsets! This place has it all. Waves and fluffy pink sand for my kid and really great snorkeling for me. Sunrise from the deck, and sunset from the heated pool. Walk on the beach under moonlight and stars to 2 very tasty restaurants. House was super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, plus was close to town for groceries and what not. Can’t wait to return!"
