Close to home owner who goes to sleep at 9pm, and there is a charge for everything… sauna, extra towel, parking, bikes…so be aware. No self check in, so you will need to set a time to check in."

Easy to access via tram/train/bus, and supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance. "The attic apartment was a great find! View of the main Neckar River bridge on one side and view of the Heidelberg castle on the other side!! Big bedroom, small kitchen, nice bathroom with shower, separate bathtub, 2 sinks! Just be prepared to walk up little stairs to the 5th floor, which was a bit hard with luggage but fine after that. And there is an underground parking structure about 2 blocks away if you bring a car or public transportation bus stops right in front of apartment."

"A once fabulous hotel started to age. While things are okay, many items could be repaired or updated. Lightbulbs vibrate and hum loudly in the room. One of them was so loud that I could not dare to keep on. Else the carpets in the elevator need replacement. The bath tub ranks in the most slippery category and felt dangerous, the shower curtain refuses to move, and the tub does not drain well. Calls to reception are not being answered and staff is absent during checkout causing 15min delays."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to fuel up to start a day of sight seeing. One thing would have made our stay more enjoyable. As English speaking travelers, we would have enjoyed a better variety of English channels on the TV. Unfortunately, the English channels were all news channels. I would like to suggest the management of the hotel perhaps reduce the number of English news stations to two. In place of the others please add English speaking stations that offer entertainment options, such as drama, sitcoms and music shows. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful."
