"The staff was very kind. They have many people working hard at this hotel to make sure it is clean and enjoyable. You can get your laundry done as well - for a reasonable price - and there is a very nice restaurant right at the hotel with food at affordable prices. It is a grand place - nice rooms, a pool, good staff...and it does not cost a huge amount to book a room. Go for it!"

"The location was great and not so great, near lots of shops and restaurants. There is a great coffee place outside the villa which we enjoyed on almost daily basis. The not so great part of location, right next rice paddy where lizards, dragonfly's, and mosquitoes originated. "We stayed here as we were in Bali for a wedding and we knew we had friends staying close by. It was the perfect base for us. Ben was very helpful before our arrival, Kadek checked us in quickly, and could not have been more helpful during our stay. The villa is clean, and well maintained, there is plenty of water provided, and beers available in the fridge (IDR25,000each). "A group of us -11 people total- just spent 4 nights at the Heron Villa and had a wonderful time there. The villa is gorgeous and the caretakers -Wayan and Jeffri- are super nice, competent and attentive. They cooked delicious dinners for us 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and were able to organize very affordable and delightful onsite massages. Gusty, the driver who works for the villa, took us all over the place and was very accommodating and patient. All in all a great experience!"
