This is a great place to stay for access to the mountain. The clothes washing facilities are a real bonus!

Beautiful stay in the heart of nature We loved the thoughtful little touches like fresh milk in the room — such a nice surprise. The spa bath was perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The on-site restaurant served delicious local food, and the location is ideal — just a short walk to the national park. A peaceful and cozy stay!

Fantastic accommodations, Jamie the care take was a so friendly and even did a sausage sizzle with bonfire to stay warm. The only thing that could be added is a wifi signal booster. There was wifi in the shared bbq area but not in the rooms

Whilst in a national park, it's hard to keep up appearances, although this is a tired lodge. The grounds are literally falling apart; the roads around the lodge are full of potholes, and maintenance seems to be a low priority. The rooms lack wifi (like it's 2025 eh) and the food is poor for the prices paid. It's average and we fortunately paid the high price for the top rooms, where talking with out guests at least we have a tv to watch in our room when the weather turned bad. Modern conveiences seem to be removed and whilst the nature experience is also all about the destination and tranquility so is modern conveniences expected. I would not return to this lodge.
