"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. "A lovely, well-run small hotel — went above and beyond during the France fires. Really pleased with our stay. With the recent fires in France, the staff went out of their way to help friends of ours who needed rooms for the night — genuinely kind and accommodating when it mattered. Aside from that, the hotel itself was great throughout. It's not a big place, but it's clean, functional, and the staff are relaxed and friendly. "Il s'agit d'un logement AIRBNB avec une boite à clefs alors que je ne séleccionne que les hôtels avec service. Prise du logement à 16 heures et à 18 heures plus personne ne répond au téléphone, car la responsable se met aux abonnés absents. Aucun moyen de savoir se connecter au Wifi. Ce qui ne change rien parce que le Wifi ne fonctionnait pas et la 5G non plus. Emplacement près du port mais aucun commerce de proximité. "We had the nicest time at Hôtel des Dunes, and wish we could have stayed longer! Location was perfect – it felt like a secret hideaway, but easy short walking distance to restaurants, cafes, the dunes etc. We only stayed one night, but loved the simple but chic relaxed vibe, especially for drinks in the central courtyard in the evening. We had a few options for where to stay in Cap Ferret, and are so glad we made the right choice!"
