When we arrived and tried the door code it didn’t work. Had to call Vacasa and went through different tries until it worked. I told them the way the lights were blinking the battery was probably going out. Then there isn’t a way to keep the lock open while you’re going in and out. Every time it locks and you have to use the 8 digit code which is a great pain and danger if you don’t have a good memory! We finally push some foil in the latch so it would stay open. Then we found several cockroaches and the fan vent in the loft was filthy. The closets are two cupboards next to bed that you’d have to be 6’5 to even reach a hanger and no hooks or pegs anywhere to hang any clothes. We hung clothes bags from curtains. Not much instruction in welcome book on tv or heat system. After coming home from grocery with ice cream the door code again didn’t work and Vacasa could not get it to work so they said they would have someone local call with code to key box. A neighbor let me put groceries in his freezer. They never called but I kept trying code and it finally worked. I finally noticed that they sent an email with the code for key 2 hours later. Then the outlet at the dock had no power there or at the other dock! We called and they said a local team would contact. he called once and then sent text to see what problem was and never did anything else. We had to buy 200’ of extension cords to use. The location and cabin in general was nice and quiet.
