The perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Mount Dora. Just a short walk or bike ride to historic downtown Mount Dora. Enjoy all the nearby shops, cafes and galleries. Located in an established neighborhood amongst other renovated historical cottages. Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1932, this inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been recently renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and stove.

Second time at this house. Just adorable. Close to downtown and great location to walk the neighborhood. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Really appreciated the fenced in back yard for our dog.

Perfect house for a girl's weekend! Very well appointed and comfortable with plenty of seating throughout. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for cooking in house. Great location in a quiet neighborhood only a short distance from downtown Mt Dora. Need to make a trip to this house an annual event!

This place was awesome! Very clean, well maintained and the location was fantastic. Walking into town was easy and the neighbors were friendly, even to us out of towners. Our two little dogs loved it and clean up in the yard was easy. It was great having a little fenced in back yard to let them out in. We checked the fence to make sure they couldn't get it, and no problem, even for our little dogs- no escapes! Lets put it this way, We loved it! Definitely recommend this place!

Great place to stay!

Had a wonderful stay at the Mermaid house. Was very nice and cozy. AC was great, location excellent, and very quiet neighborhood. Host was very communicative and would highly recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights with my husband. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Charming cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

Really liked the property, it was very cute. Some minor issues like non-functioning TV's and would have been nice to have some ice in the freezer, but overall it was nice and clean and I would stay again!

Wonderful Mt Dora home!

My sister, two pups, and I all stayed over the weekend in the mermaid house! It was the cutest house and the perfect location! Hosts were very responsive.

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed staying at the mermaid house. Cozy old cottage just big enough. Updated shower, adequate kitchen, comfortable beds. Could not figure out how to use the tvs. Close enough to walk downtown thru a safe pleasant neighborhood. Looking forward to going back later in the year.

Cute Bungalow

This cute bungalow is in a great location and a great neighborhood. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and parks. The house has everything you need and is equipped with the basics. We would definitely consider staying here again.

UCF Sophomore Student - Move In/Getaway

We were taking our college Sophomore to UCF and get her set up in a new apartment and decided to stay in Mt. Dora to get away for a few days afterwards. It was a perfect place to get some rest and relaxation in before going back home to South Florida.

Anniversary Get Away

We enjoyed our first trip to Mount Dora. We will definitely be back but in the Spring or Fall when the weather is cooler. The house was clean and convenient to downtown and restaurants. Easy check in. Thanks for allowing us to stay and bring our gut babies.
