Historic District Bungalow - Easy Walk to Downtown

Our Bungalow on Baker Street has been a favorite destination since 2014. Private Bungalow on a 1/4-acre lot has been beautifully redecorated and fully modernized. Located in the heart of Mt. Dora on a picturesque and quiet street. It is just a 5-minute walk (0.4) to downtown and all shops. It is 2 bedrooms; one has a queen bed and the other is full size. Also, we have a full-size sleeper sofa. Small dogs are allowed with prior approval. No parties or events allowed.

This house was awesome. Great location and it’s bigger than it looks. Nice yard, well appointed and comfy. Little touches like the snacks and coffee/tea were appreciated. 1/2 walk downtown or a 5 Uber ride. There was a farmers market on Sunday downtown. Highly recommend! Host was very responsive.

Couldn't find a better spot in central Florida. Mt. Dora is the most quaint, little tourist town and the house we rented was perfect. what a great vacation spot!

Great place close to downtown!

Have a very nice weekend in Mt.Dora saying here. Close walk to downtown, and the home is clean, well kept, and modern inside. Very cosy and comfortable. Will definitely stay again when visiting!

Great Location

We have stayed here several times to visit Mt Dora during the holiday season. This is a great home that close to town and a little dog park up the street to walk the dogs.

Efficient and peaceful

We loved Bobby’s house. Its location is beyond superb easy walk to town and everything you need to get to. House was extremely clean and everything you wanted was there. He has a great selection of books as well.

Conveniently Located for Great Walks

Adorable home close to Downtown Mount Dora and great for walking our pup through the charming neighborhood. Perfect size for the two of us and we enjoyed seeing hawks, owls and hummingbirds while sitting on the back porch enjoying our morning coffee. Definitely would stay again!

Anniversary getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Baker Bungalow is cute as a button and the location is great for being close to downtown Mount Dora. Owner, Bobby Burnett, couldn’t have been nicer and we would recommend this rental to everyone. Next time we come we will choose a cooler timer of year so we can enjoy walking around more and also the cute porch.

Picture perfect

Mt. Dora is picture perfect even in the off season!!! This little bungalow has everything two people could need. The cable could be better but we found other things to do, its in walking distance to almost everything. A short drive to Wal-Mart for groceries. We had a lovley stay and would love to rent again!!

4th of July get away

We wanted a change of scenery for the holiday. Found this cute bungalow and we were sold. Bobby was awesome and answered all my questions. The house was adorable. We were able to walk everywhere. Perfect location. Will definitely recommend.

Mt Dora Bungalow

Charming Bungalow, great location. Front door coded lock would not work to get in or to leave and lock. Had to go to backdoor to use the keypad, get the key and enter that way. Pretty inconvenient. First 2 nights the TV did not work, kept getting no signal or was stuck on 1 channel, could change the channel or get column, DVD player did not work either. I did not notice until we were driving to the location on Nov 16 2023, our confirmation said we had a pet staying with us, which we did not, I never even inquired about a pet, hope I was not charged a pet fee. Location is great, very short walk to downtown Mt Dora.

This is the most perfect location! So central and great for walking to downtown. We were able to venture out multiple times a day and go home to relax in this precious house. It was beautiful sitting out on the back porch and enjoying the weather and how quiet the neighborhood is. Great to be able to just walk to get breakfast, lunch or dinner! Or eat in since the kitchen is fully equipped. Robert was VERY kind and helpful with booking and the whole stay. Will definitely stay here again.
