Clean comfortable fully stocked within walking distance to everything Leesburg has to offer -a GREAT place to stay ... beds were so comfy and so was the sofa definitely would stay again ... totally loved it!!

The Cottage on King is compact, well-outfitted and lovely. It is walking distance of older Leesburg with parks and the W&OD Trail that runs from Shirlington to Purcellville, great for bikes and walking. There are wineries and much else in the surrounding area, and Leesburg has many interesting shops and great restaurants. My friend and I think we will rent this cottage again. We might even bring our spouses.

My husband, mother and I had a great stay at the Cottage on King. It’s tiny but we loved it. It’s beautifully decorated and you can’t get much better in terms of location. There were plenty of towels and other amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable- not amazing but slept fairly well. You can hear the traffic but it didn’t bother us.

Location is great for walking to old town Leesburg. Very busy streets though, keep that in mind. Neighbors and owner were nice and not a problem. Parking can be tight for a larger vehicle. But a Yukon fits. Weather was freezing while we were there (nothing anyone can do about that) so we were stuck inside for our stay). Would be a good stop to base out of to explore historic downtown Leesburg.

Great little spot in Leesburg, easily accessible to all the shops downtown. Everything was as advertised, it was just a little loud being on King St first thing in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The cottage on King Street was a treat for us during a special family event in Leesburg. We're thrilled to have splurged a bit on cost for the two of us as the lovely, charming decor of this home matched the feeling of the weekend. The location can't be beat for easy, walkable access to the historic district of Leesburg with all its shops and restaurants. The interior was decorated with care and attention to detail. One improvement opportunity is to add blackout curtains to the bedroom to avoid unintentional early-morning sleep disruption - but would be an easy fix for the owner. A suggested amenity is bath soap/body wash. I usually have it with me, but forgot this trip. It would have been nice to have a small stash on hand in the bathroom. There was also a load of laundry in both the dryer and the washer upon arrival, so I was met with laundry duty first thing, which was a bit of a pain.

We have stayed in VRBO properties since before COVID times, and enjoy them for the ability to “live like a local” in either new places or areas we are quite familiar with. We chose the cottage to be central in Leesburg and meet up with family and friends over the Easter break. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants, but we also were happy to have space to visit with the family and share a home-cooked meal. The beds and living areas were comfortable, and the sweet little garden in full bloom was lovely to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to be back someday! MaryJo and Chris

Adorable cottage in the perfect location. 2 blocks to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Very clean and well decorated. Adorable kitchen area and also has laundry. We sat on the front porch to watch the Christmas parade and it was a great viewing spot!

We came to Leesburg for a quick getaway. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and seeing lovely old homes and buildings. We went to the Holiday craft fair at nearby Ida Lee Park. I also enjoyed hiking at BallsBluff. The Cottage on King could not have been a better place to stay. It was cozy and quiet, once evening rolled around. Very nice stay!!

Cottage on King is amazing! It is very charming and you cannot beat the location. The property was very clean and well maintained. The decor matches the vibe of the cottage and town. Kyle was very prompt with responses and super kind. I am looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Well situated in down town Leesburg. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels. Only suggestion is to add a toaster , otherwise all my needs were met.

The cottage was clean and comfy, and had all the amenities you could want. The location was unbeatable, it's just a couple blocks walk away from the heart of downtown Leesburg and a short drive to lots of wineries and breweries. The host was very quick to respond and helpful when we had questions. The weather was extremely hot when we visited (about 100 degrees outside) but the AC kept the place very cool. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location right in the heart of downtown Leesburg. Super convenient to be able to walk to all that the downtown has to offer. The space itself is great and provided a good resting spot in between activities - very nice to be able to just pop "home" quickly. The hosts were very communicative as well and proactive. We didn't have any issues, but I got the impression the hosts would've been very helpful if there were. We definitely plan to come back and will recommend it to friends looking to stay in Leesburg.

The location was excellent. Historic Leesburg has wonderful restaurants, breweries, and shopping all within a few blocks. The cottage was adorable and tastefully decorated with many conveniences of home. The house does sit right on a busy Street and you do hear road noise, but it really didn’t bother us. Thanks Kyle for sharing your adorable cottage with us! We will definitely be back.

This cottage is in perfect walking distance to quaint downtown Leesburg, with its variety of wonderful restaurants & shops. However, it is right on a main road, with no fenced in yard, so Pups must be on- leash.

The property was as advertised. It was a great little house with all the amenities included along with a covered parking spot. Location is right on the main street of Leesburg close to all the downtown shops. Major grocery stores within a mile. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels and blankets. We will definitely stay there again when visiting the grandchildren!

Super location and great find! Comfortable in every aspect except for the couch. Probably just me and my "senior" back . Beds super comfy with nice linens . Decorated with some unique finds that would be treasures to me! Nice patio to sit and enjoy the sounds and sights of summer. Would definitely go back.

Walk in to a warm hug of coziness with all the necessary comforts of home. Fun shopping places with friendly people. Yummy food- especially Shoe's Secret Garden (dog friendly) with basil curry fries!!!!! Beautiful garden and nice neighbors. Dog loved every minute as well. Very cute cottage. The owners took the time to decorate it with all the niceties that any renter could want. Very convenient spot located on King Street. One item to note… there is street noise but if you want to have the convenience of walking to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Leesburg, you have it with this property.

What a treat! Loved staying at this historic cottage on the Main Street in Leesburg. Very clean, cozy, & comfortable with outdoor seating in a beautiful setting! Just what we needed for our girls weekend! We would stay there again for sure! We walked to dinner, breakfast, and shops! Hosts were easy to communicate with during our stay! Highly recommend!

Very pleased with this cottage! It was cute & cozy. The hosts put a lot of care, attention & thought into every aspect of the home. This was one of the cleanest homes (bathroom, tub, floors, refrigerator) I’ve ever stayed at. It was nice to not have to throw out old food in the fridge. The one thing I would have liked was for the hosts to communicate with me earlier than a few hours before check-in—I’d say at least provide check-in details 24 hours prior. It makes it easier for guests to already have those details as opposed to having to reach out to the hosts on the day of arrival. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Upon arriving we noticed how delightful the place smelled and how well decorated it was. We walked the main street and went to the shop the homeowner Reagan worked at. She was lovely and gave us great suggestions for dinner and breakfast. The home has anything and everything you could possibly need for your stay. Bed was comfortable and linens were high quality. You can tell the owners really care about your experience with staying in there rental. It was more like staying at a family member then a rental. Only wish our time there was longer!

The cottage was adorable, clean, and in a great location. However, I would recommend following up with the host after booking to confirm that the dates you would like to stay are in fact available. There is a known "glitch" in the system that seems to have allowed up to reserve a night that had already been booked. The owner did not communicate this to us until three days before the trip. The owners were not that remorseful and acknowledged that this is a known glitch. They refunded us very quickly for the double-booked night but did not refund us for the night in full. We followed up with the host three times and our messages were ignored. The owner did allow us to access the house at 2 pm, but check-in information came right at 2 pm, so it was difficult to plan in advance.
