Josephine House- PET FRIENDLY-15 Min to Ski Cooper w/ HOT TUB!

A large home with contemporary furnishings, a fenced-in grass backyard for your pets, and a hot tub for you and your friends/ family! You'll notice right away the electric fireplace and thoughtful seating arrangement in the main living area. Television comes with a Roku stick for a variety of programming. The kitchen is made for entertaining with a center island and windows that look out onto your large private deck and landscaped backyard paradise! Walk out to views of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive while enjoying your morning cup of coffee. The master suite has a walk-in closet and a 5 piece master bath. Don't miss this incredible mountain getaway! Great access to hiking, biking, fishing, camping, and rafting as well as the ball fields and skate park! Located just a short mile from Historic Harrison Ave, the Tabor Opera House, and one of Leadville's favorite restaurants the Tennessee Pass Cafe! Some furnishings will be different than in the photos.

IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG, there is a $100 plus tax fee. You MUST check the box at time of booking that you are bringing a pet, or notify us so that we can add the pet fee!

Great place to stay in Leadville

We had a great time staying at the Josephine House. All of the beds were comfortable, the property was well-maintained, and the amenities met our needs. Having the fenced yard made it much easier to care for our dog during an extremely cold weekend. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay when traveling with a larger group.

Fantastic location!

We enjoyed our stay! This is the second time we’ve selected this exact property. Plenty of space, nice to be close to town, but out of the crowds. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and great neighborhood.

We stayed here for our annual ski trip. It was close to Ski Cooper and plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing!

We loved staying at this property for a long holiday ski weekend at Ski Cooper. The house was clean, the hot tub was great, and there was a nice Christmas tree to make the place feel festive. The kids loved the provided sleds and the nearby sledding hill, which was a nice bonus. We'll definitely come back in the future.

Love this place!

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Josephine House. We love Leadville and this location is perfect. Well furnished, good beds, plenty of kitchen stuff and space. I’ve always found the chairs at the kitchen count at but odd— way too high to sit on. but otherwise comfortable, clean, great outdoor area for kids/dogs, and food hot tub as well

We took a family trip to Leadville to ski for a few days after we were in Denver for a hockey tournament. The house had everything we needed for our stay while we went skiing at Ski Cooper. The kids enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and the wife and I appreciated all of the space and amenities the house offered. After being in a hotel for a few nights during the tournament having the extra space for the 6 of us to spread out really helped. Everything we needed during out stay was easy to find in the home. Highly recommend.

Ideal location just outside of downtown

Our stay was great! Communication with the owner was great. Basics were at the house. Plenty of towels and linens. Lots of space. Washer and dryer was super convenient. Close enough to downtown Leadville to get there within 5 minutes, yet also close to get to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, etc. Quiet neighborhood, with convenient access to the highway.

XC Team Training Event

Great place for a family

We had a great time. Our family includes three teens and they loved having their own rooms and space. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after climbing a 14er and some runs. Communication was excellent. My only wish was that the house were a little closer to Leadville's main street to make it easier to walk to.
