"Fantastic little find, out in the middle of nowhere, high in the hills above the lake. The most spectacular views from the balcony where we just sat in the peace and quiet. Our host was fabulous, who couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was local pastrys, the sugar bread was to die for. Beautifully restored, very authentic. "

"The property lies beautifully on the bottom of Fayence with a decent view on it right in the middle of rose fields and wine field. Rupert and Christophe built some real jewel there. Both provide also some very open and friendly environment to spend extraordinary vacations. Slowing down from daily business work and forget any stress becomes so easy..... Great"

"If you are looking for a lovely place with a welcoming, homey atmosphere, you should definitely check out Laura and Terry's. We had a wonderful time there! It truly felt like we were visiting friends in Nice. It is a quiet, beautiful spot and makes for a great home base to explore Nice and the surrounding cities. I strongly recommend this place and would love to visit again soon."

"LOVED this hotel. It was within walking distance to Old Town, shops and several restaurants. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing! Updated and very clean. The view of the sea was incredible to wake up to every morning."
"Hotel was good, however if looking to explore Old Town you are a 40 min walk away so not ideal on hot days. Area in front of hotel is wonderful but the street behind is not the greatest and dirty. Breakfast was fantastic!"
"Excellent location. We stayed in the Junior suite and this had a wonderful view and balcony over the Promenade.
Room was very good as was breakfast and the service.
Hotel itself was very nice - with a few nice lounges to sit in and even a 'Pool table' room. "
"Breakfasts were good, fresh fruits, nuts, kiwis, croissants and coffee, etc. a good continental breakfast. The building is quite old, but in line with the Haussmann store"
"I recently stayed at this hotel in Nice, France, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing compared to what I expected from a 4-star property.
Pros:
The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Place Massena, with a Monoprix store conveniently located across the street.
Cons:
I had previously stayed at this hotel in October 2024, and the difference now is like night and day. Upon arrival, we were checked into a dirty room. All shelves and tables were dusty, and the floor and carpet rack were visibly unclean. The fridge barely worked—it was only good enough to keep chocolate from melting. Because of this, guests were storing their food in a shared fridge in the hallway.
We stayed for 9 nights, and the bedding was only changed once—on the night before our departure, which is completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The carpet in my room was never vacuumed during our stay. It was so dirty that I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot.
The housekeeping service was also very poor. We would leave towels on the floor in the morning as instructed, but when returning around 6 p.m. to shower and get ready for dinner, the towels were still there. I had to go to reception myself and exchange dirty towels for clean ones.
The hotel advertises free coffee and tea in the hallway, which is technically true—the machine and tea bags are there—but there are no cups available to actually use them.
Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing"
