Cute home in a gated courtyard

We really enjoyed our time here. It"s about a 35 minute commute to Paris and 15 to Versailles. As 4 women traveling together, we felt very safe here. The hosts are very sweet and available to communicate as needed. They readily helped when we had an issue that didn't even have to do with the rental home. Very gracious and kind people. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Charming and oh so quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Celle!The place is charming but bear in mind it's an old building so the wooden floors and steps can be uneven and the owner warned us about potential leaks during heavy rains. Personally we didn't mind.You sometime have kids playing in the private courtyard but it's still very quiet.The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, the bedding very comfortable.If you're a good walker, a pharmacy, supermarket, & bakery aren't that far away with an absolutely fantastic food market on Wednesdays and Saturdays' mornings (10mn walk, highly, highly recommend!).There's a small convenience store just next to the place but products are limited and a bit pricier.Walking to the train station to Paris takes longer but you can cut through the woods (20mn) and there's a bus stop just 2mn away from the place. Trains are very frequent, comfortable and take you right in Paris.In short if you look for a quiet place, nice walks, great food, not far from Paris, La Celle is for you.
