"Nice getaway for two people. The cottage was comfortable overall, and there were several things we really liked. The bathroom has been nicely remodeled with a large shower, and the new TV in the main room is huge and well mounted, although it does dominate the room.A few things could use some attention. The kitchen refrigerator appears to be more like a converted wine cooler and has no freezer compartment, so we were unable to refreeze our cooler packs. We knew to bring Kleenex, since none was provided, and we also ended up replacing the single-ply toilet paper with our own. Also toilet seat had peeling paint... needs replaced.There was a little confusion with the Wi-Fi instructions. The information in the guest book was incorrect, while a small note on the refrigerator had the correct information.The outdoor light by the front door really needs to be brighter. At night there was not enough light see the lock and insert the key.The picture above the bed is hung quite low, made me a little nervous because pillows can easily bump it, and ours did & it knocked crooked. I would suggest hanging it higher for both comfort and safety, you could screw it into the wall.Lastly, there was an open electrical fixture/socket area in the ceiling, seems like the smoke alarm is missing, That should be repaired ASAP. There was a plug-in carbonmonoxide detector.Overall, a nice little cottage for two, with a few relatively easy improvements that would make the stay noticeably better."
