I have stayed here on a few different occasions. They are currently renovating the property, but it does not interfere with the appearance or your stay. The staff is always welcoming and accommodates needs. It is my preferred place to stay anytime I go to Johnstown.

When I booked the stay, it was under a different name and there was supposed to be a continental breakfast. We didn’t know the company had sold & there was NO continental breakfast, this was an important factor in our travel plans & added expense. The check in staff was rude upon arrival. The room was a good size & had a nice beach feel if we were closer to the water. However it had an unpleasant smell & there was glue all over the floor. When I called the desk he said the contractor did it during the remodel.

Family 1 night stay. Beds were comfortable, room lacked some modern furniture. the stuff was friendly however the hotel inside was very dated.( Hence construction) Continental breakfast had some healthy options but not many. We appreciate the location close to Walmart, Panera, Starbucks and gas station so that part was super convenient.

This sleeping is now Suburban Studios Hotel has been remodeled. Hotel is clean Rooms have a regular size refrigerator, microwave, cabinets with bar sink. Bathroom sink and mirror is in the room is separate from toilet and shower which is a small area. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was prepackaged items. We went next door to Denny’s. Shopping and dining across from parking lot. I didn’t care for the smell of the Cleaning products. Definitely a dog friendly place even if your dogs bark. Perfect For long stays.

I gave this 5 stars because for the price just to have a place to lay my head for two nights was worth it. There is no breakfast served but for the price it was still cheaper to buy breakfast than to pay the $60.00/night extra to stay in a better hotel. Everything was clean and that was important to me. The place could use a little upkeep such as slightly loose floor boards. The bathroom shower door didn't close nicely, it was crooked but still functioning. They provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. The room had a small fridge, a microwave and a separate sink for dishes etc. I arrived in the evening and the staff was very friendly and willing to help. However, they do not automatically clean the rooms every day. You have to ask for service if you want clean towels, trash emptied or beds made up. Otherwise for longer stays they clean the room every three days. In the morning when I went to request new towels the lady behind the counter was not particularly friendly. She gave me the impression I was bothering her but she did get someone to take clean towels to my room. There was plenty of free parking. The 'bathroom' sink was outside the bathroom which I like. When you need to finish getting make up on etc. the bathroom is freed up for your spouse or whoever to get showered. If you are on a tight budget but need a place to rest your head I would recommend this place. This is definitely not a high end hotel but as I said, it was clean.
