Everything was great except no fridge or microwave in the room. I usually don’t check these things because I’m used to having them in every room I’ve ever rented. I was able to have a fridge delivered for an extra fee though

Upon check-in, the lady at the front desk was angry with her coworkers and said she can't wait to quit her job. Said she hates working there. Our room was very outdated, popcorn ceilings, no table, one chair with peeling vinyl seats. Didn't look AT ALL like the pictures. Very old, outdated furniture. "Refrigerator" upon request means $10 a day charge. The door key got deactivated three times. We had to walk all the way from our room in the promenade tower to the desk at 1:30 in the morning to get another key. The third time I was locked out, I was very angry because our group had to wait for us so we were all late for our dinner reservation. The person at the desk who said he was the manager said he would waive the resort fees and not charge for the fridge to ease our inconvenience. On check out morning, I called front desk to confirm the waived fees. Front desk lady (very rude) said the person who said he was the manager was just a regular clerk and he was not authorized to waive anything. I asked to speak to manager. I was told she's busy, but would call me back when she was able to. A lady did call me and said the manager would only waive day resort fee, but nothing else. I went down to front desk to speak to the manager, again was told she was busy. I asked to speak to her boss, was told he's very, very busy. Tropicana's "customer service" is awful. The front desk can care less about their guests, and you cannot speak to a manager.

It was my first time in laughing, my husband, baby and I had a good time. But I just wanted to mention about the cleaning of the room. All furniture was very dust. t's not a big deal. I work in housekeeping as well in one of the mgmresorts properties. And I now that important of the cleanest.

The room we stayed at smelled bad, room was dirty lots of dust. It seemed like it was not cleaned. The bathroom was also disgusting. The sink was clogged. The mattress sucked woke up with an achy body from it. Very few good limited options on food. This place needs an updrade. Will not be staying here anymore.

Our stay was affordable, great service, excellent service. Safety was our #1 concern, it was great. Walking enjoyment. Not a fancy place but was exactly what we needed and wanted...Safety, Cost, clean, and happy employees. Thank you Tropicana!

I needed a stopover to have dinner with a cousin on my way to the Grand Canyon, so I found a good deal on Expedia. The hotel description stated refrigerators were in the rooms, but failed to state that they were on request and an additional fee. Not a big deal but it would have been much better to have known so I could have arranged it ahead of time so that it was cold when I arrived. I had a cooler of food with me for the remainder of my trip and needed to keep it cold. Other than that, the hotel was nice, I did not gamble, but walked through the casino several times and it was laid out well. The front desk had a strict no check-in until 4:00 pm policy (I checked in on Memorial Day) I'm sure that was a holdover from the holiday weekend but check-in was quick once it was 4:00 pm. I was in the Promenade Tower and parking was convenient in the garage (which also kept my car out of the hot Arizona sun). Just confirm with the hotel ahead of arrival the amenities you need and you should have a nice stay.
