Beautiful apartment recently renovated. In front of the Playa de Las Canteras. The apartment is a studio and is in the mezzanine floor, ie on the first floor but not at street level but at a considerable height. Clean and convenient to beach but - Plenty of saucepans but no bowls to cook in apart from a fruit bowl. Difficult with a microwave. Small tube of shampoo not sufficient for 6 days Shower runs cold at times. Rusty shower, rusty mirror above whb, broken drawers, chipped coffee table, very uncomfortable sofa, paintwork needs touched up. Expedia mentions 2 bathrooms - only one shower room, no gym though independent one nearby to pay for.

Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet. Es ist sehr ruhig, wir haben nur das Meeresrauschen gehört. Die Terrasse ist windgeschützt. Dort kann man gut sitzen, wenn es am Strand zu windig ist.

ENGLISH In short - again and again, we have already booked again. In long - We enjoyed the January 2017 there very much. The apartment 107 is, as indicated, well equipped, clean and is absolutely central. The price-performance ratio is good and there are not too many providers with comparable good offers. From the balcony you have direct contact to the hustle and bustle on the promenade and to the 15 m wide sandy beach. The sea is only 25 - 30 m from the balcony. If the weather is favorable, you have a great view of Tenerife, which is more than 100 km away and the vulkan Teide (3718 m). A unique sunset with cloud formations is not a rarity. Las Palmas, especially Playa Las Canteras, is well suited for people who do not want to be on the beach only. Although this is also possible in January. Here one does not feel as a mass tourism, because the everyday life of the Canarians next door is the day. You need absolutely no rental car. With the really good bus connections from Santa Catalina and also San Telmo (old town) you can reach every point of the island and the city; Can arrive and depart. Even taxis are cheap. The landlord, Octavio, is very attentive and accessible at any time. He is open-minded and immediately helpful. Here again many, many thanks. If you do not want the direct contact to the promenade not so much and needs its rest go to the website apartementosmarsinplaya, after the attached point is complemented with com to see more apartments.
