"This is a wonderful guesthouse! We stumbled upon it at the last minute as a decision to escape the city for a few nights. The receptionist was very friendly and a we were running late for checking in she made sure that our room key was held at the restaurant attached to the inn. The restaurant is a must try too! Portions are huge and the food was delicious. We are planning a return visit. "

"We have to open the window because room got very hot, just to find out there was a stair outside the window were anyone can get inside our room in the middle of the night, also room was very basic, old tv, carpet and nothing else. "We spent only one night, arrived late, there are no signs anywhere, took us some time to find the hotel. The parking is a little difficult to find. Otherwise the hotel was very clean, comfortable, the restaurant good, but didn’t take credit card for the dinner for some reason, but at checkout they did. There also is a little bit of language barrier..But you get what you pay.."

"Steigenberger Esplanade is exceptional. The room was perfect, breakfast superior, and the hostess at breakfast was delightful. Everybody was friendly and helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself couldn't be in a better location. It's within walking distance to the town square all the local restaurants and pubs, and some great shopping!
