"We stayed here because we were in town for a concert at the Marktplatz. We were greeted by friendly staff who was super helpful and sweet. Our room was very beautiful with a gorgeous shower. The bed was comfy. Breakfast had many options of cold cuts, breads, eggs, pastries, and different juices. Outside there was even a gorgeous park. The staff even helped us hail a taxi. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We spent only one night, arrived late, there are no signs anywhere, took us some time to find the hotel. The parking is a little difficult to find. Otherwise the hotel was very clean, comfortable, the restaurant good, but didn’t take credit card for the dinner for some reason, but at checkout they did. There also is a little bit of language barrier..But you get what you pay.."

"This is a wonderful guesthouse! We stumbled upon it at the last minute as a decision to escape the city for a few nights. The receptionist was very friendly and a we were running late for checking in she made sure that our room key was held at the restaurant attached to the inn. The restaurant is a must try too! "Steigenberger Esplanade is exceptional. The room was perfect, breakfast superior, and the hostess at breakfast was delightful. Everybody was friendly and helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself couldn't be in a better location. It's within walking distance to the town square all the local restaurants and pubs, and some great shopping! Parking is in the garage and there is always parking available! Do yourself a favor and spoil yourself with a stay at Steigenberger Esplanade Jena. It's definitely it!"
