Home Truths: - The den fireplace is not currently operational. Please enjoy the fireplace in both the front living room and game room. - Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules. - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - This home does not have direct beach access. - Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance. - The main road leading to the home is currently under construction. Detours are clearly marked, but ongoing work and rainy weather can make some areas muddy or uneven. We recommend allowing extra time when arriving and using caution while driving in and out of the neighborhood. - Please note that the propane BBQ is available from April through October and is put away during the winter months.

Great home for a family weekend celebration. Beautiful grounds, spectacular views, lots of wildlife. Quiet neighborhood and Langley is a walkable distance away. Would stay here again.
There’s quite a bit of space to spread out in this clean, cute rental. Gardens are lovely, kitchen is well stocked (loved the pizza and swag on arrival) and it’s a quick 4 minute drive to downtown
3 generations of us stayed for two nights in November for our annual "Girls Weekend."
The house is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views. Wonderful gas fire made the living room extra cozy.
Being so close to town was great.
The home was very comfortable and provided privacy for everyone in our family as well as a wonderful common room to gather around the fireplace. Stunning view of Saratoga passage and the cascades mountains.
We had a wonderful family vacation on the bluff! Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Downtown Langley is close and delightful. A great place to relax and close to many adventures. We hope to stay here again someday.
We were delighted with the property. It was clean, spacious (for the two couples traveling this time) and had a great view of the water. Very convenient to downtown Langley. Would be perfect for my whole family (3 couples with two children) if the third bedroom had at least a full size bed. Otherwise, perfect.
Lovely views. Quiet, convenient neighborhood near charming little village. Beautifully tended grounds. Spacious home. Bathrooms could use a little TLC, but very comfy pretty place to spend time with people you enjoy.
Beautiful property and great views. Close to the town of Langley but far enough away affording privacy and quiet. Plenty of room for our group of six. A book gave detailed instructions on using the property. Only bit of confusion was I was given 3 different door codes to gain entry. We would definitely stay again.
I was excited about this stay just based on the listing and rave reviews. Im happy to say everything lived up to my expectations. The view and serene setting were so spectacular it didnt matter if it was a rainy day, we turned on the front fireplace and played family board games, drank a cup of coffee, or cozied up with a book. There was ample space and amenities to use. I truly hope we get to come back someday and experience it again.
Stayed here for a weekend with my girlfriends. We were delighted upon arrival to see the place looked just as gorgeous as the photos! Plenty of beds for everyone, a cozy couch for hanging out, a nice dining room for dinners at home, and the outside view is just incomparable. Loved having the Adirondack chairs out for our morning coffee and afternoon wine. We even saw two bald eagles landing in the bluff below the house! The only thing that could make this house better would be a hot tub. We’ll be back!
This house is nicely updated with cute functional furniture and lots of space for spreading out. The couch is super big and comfortable. I’m glad we didn’t end up needing the beds that are located in the recreational room because it wasn’t clear that that room is in a detached garage with no bathrooms and smells a little musty, but seems like a great hang out area. We did end up using the day bed in the “den” with the fireplace, it has a door and a bathroom right across the hall, so serves as a bedroom easily. It’s a really short drive into downtown which was nice. The management was very prompt and friendly when we had a couple of small issues.
I’ve stayed in many rentals on Whidbey and this one ranks as the best. The view is stunning rain or shine. The home has a very well appointed kitchen and being a mile walk from the Star grocery store makes it easy to stock the fridge or enjoy takeout. The space is great for families or friend groups with essentially 3 suite areas with full bathrooms. We didn’t get to take advantage of the yard but a sunny day and the bbq would be hard to beat. Fantastic communication via text for easy questions and check out. I’d like to keep this a hidden gem so it’s always available for me lol! But hope you’ll give it a try.

Colonial by the sea was perfectly situated -in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the sound for a serene view from sunrise to sunset and walking distance to downtown Langley. The house was well appointed & clean. The management was responsive to any issues we had. We had fewer guests than beds. The “extra” beds wouldn’t have been long enough for my tall adult sons. We’d stay there again if we go back. Other wedding attendees agreed that we had found the best house.
The house is amazing. Coffee every morning looking out over the water. Great food in town and relaxing in the evening by the fireplace. Will definitely be back!
The location is perfect. A quick drive to the main streets of Langley. A very cute home. Everything was very clean. Only issue was WIFI was very poor but not a big issue.
The views from the property are spectacular and we saw gray whales everyday. The property managers were very responsive. We would happily stay here again.
It was a wonderful place to meet a group of 5 women, celebrating a birthday. The house has divided sleeping areas with large common spaces to socialize. My suggestions would be robe and towel hooks on the back of the doors in all the bathrooms. I’d return to this place again. Thank you
Clean and roomy house, beautiful view and location is central so it’s easy to travel the island. Definitely recommend this location and we plan on returning.
