Well priced, room was very clean and comfortable. Power shower was a big hit! I stayed two nights and was twice promised a packed up breakfast on the first morning which never appeared unfortunately... But, the cooked breakfast I had on the second morning was excellent!

The Coach House
The Coach House is a typical B&B above the pub, however didn't experience any excessive noises during my stay. The room was slightly outdated, and could do with some better hoovering - there were pieces of food left between the bed and the night table. The room would also do with some better lightning, it was really dark, and i had to use en extra light from the hall. There's a breakfast included in the price, which was very nice

FOUL MOUTHED ANGRY MANAGER
Hotel is typical of a high st pub. Fairly comfortable, cozy room, fairly nice bar area. No real issues with any of the above.
i forgot my key and got back late, Called the tel no. which was answered after 3 times by an irate gentleman (fairly understandable if he was in bed).
However I was not ready for the tirade of foul mouthed abuse I received, All the usual F### and a couple of T#### followed by throwing the key at me, which flew past my ear at speed, and shouting "Pick that up C###"
Nice service....... I wont be heading back there.
Either drunk or has bad anger issues. Steer clear.
Rooms far too hot ! Please, in light of environmental issues, and your energy costs, rooms don't need to be heated as much as they are !! We ended up turning the radiators off on arrival and leaving off all night (despite March stay, so cold nights) and were still cosy. Continental breakfast could be improved, otherwise great place to stay.
It was clean and quirky, only downside it was a little bit cold but I don't think the bathroom radiator was working and no milk for making brews but other than that it was excellent

Attitude of the staff, and unacceptable poor access to the reception from the remote Car Park
Had an enjoyable stay at the Coach House. The free car park is just behind the hotel so very convenient. Our room was a good size and nicely decorated, although there was a problem with the bathroom tiling which was due to be fixed. The breakfast was basic but very good on the whole, great value. We also ate in the pub in the evening and that meal was excellent. Friendly staff, very willing to help with anything we asked for.

It was ok but having no onsite parking is always a problem when you have to drive to a public car park and then lug you belongings back with you
I arrived after a very long day ,I was greeted and given a tour to my room , I order my food and drink before I went to my room , all ready 15 minutes later for at the bar.
Great service .
The breakfast was the best I’ve had it a while , I will be back.
Nice place well situated great landlord very knowladgeable on the area well worth speaking to as he can tell you places of interest that most people miss. He will also tell you of things that you may want to avoid ie lots of speed traps about.
Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Really disappointed when shown to our room. Room had a musty stale cigarette smell and towels smelt of stale cigarettes too.Double bed was really uncomfortable barely slept all night as we were too hot, a electric fan in the room would have been nice. Furniture falling apart and generally looked shabby. Drawers held shut with folded up paper. Bathroom looked shabby, tiles missing on wall above toilet. Both blinds broken so don’t close properly.Carpet dirty.
Excellent service; Very friendly staff; very clean room; comfy bed;
However, my room was facing the front door of the Inn, which is a beer garden. People were chatting and laughing till midnight on Friday and Sat. There was loud music on Sat and the elevated speakers were just outside my window.
It was amazing. Lovely friendly staff. Helpful. Lovely amazing food. The only issue was that the towels that we had smelt of cigarette smoke but we didnt say anything as everything else was so good
Excellent two-night stay at the Coach House. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast an excellent start to the day, room very clean and evening meal very good. Excellent value.
