"This was a genuinely pleasant stay. The hotel was easily reached from Waverley, with a number of buses taking about 20 minutes to reach the hotel. The welcome in the hotel was friendly and engaging, and the room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Checkout was also a dream too. There's a Morrisons about a 2 minute walk from the hotel too. Definitely recommended. "

"Great location, 7 min walk from the Edinburgh Castle, minutes to great gelato, adult beverages, and easy access to most Fringe shows! Will stay again in the future!"

"Staff very pleasant and quick to respond to any requests such as extra water, breakfast eggs to order, and they ensured to let people know 5 min before breakfast buffet was ending "

"Easy check in, clean and well kept accommodations. Friendly and inclusive staff. Nifty old building. Nice vibes throughout. Convenient location. I stayed in a private room so cannot speak for the dorms, however, our room was satisfactory, cool and comfy. I stayed only 1 quick night so wasn’t able to enjoy any activities besides sleeping, but they seem to have schedules of things going on in (or around?) the hostel. Would recommend if you want to stay close to the city centre and want to be around other travellers. You can choose between shared dorm rooms or private rooms. "
