"We had an amazing time! The host was incredible. Due to the storm, we were delayed by two days. She constantly stayed in communication with me to assist with the ferry schedule and stayed in the loop during my journey. Upon arrival, there was a beautiful food array to include cheese along with wine and sparkling water. We had not eaten all day and were in heaven to sit down and toast that we finally made it to Martha’s Vineyard! The house is perfect with all of the qualities I want such as a comfortable bed, strong water pressure, charging station and well appointed items for the kitchen and bath. Most of all the house is warm with a sense of welcome. I can’t thank the host enough for her home and her care."

Sanctuary House: An ocean-view farmhouse retreat

"My family loved the location and beautiful views. The house is an expanded Cape with three smaller bedrooms upstairs that share a small bathroom, plus a larger primary bedroom with an attached bath. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows, bedding, and towels could use a refresh.One challenge was the older upstairs area, where the window AC units were not properly sealed. As a result, quite a few bugs made their way into the bedrooms and bathroom. A vacuum was provided, which helped, but it was still unsettling, especially for some members of our group.Another inconvenience was the water filtration system, which cycled during the night restricting the flow of any water. Not being able to flush toilets or use water normally at night was unexpected and made things less convenient for our group.The outdoor space was our favorite feature. We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor shower. Access to Lambert's Cove Beach was another great perk, although the pass only allows walk-on access. If you're visiting during peak season, plan on using Uber or paying for parking. We visited during the off-season and were fortunate to find parking available.Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the location and outdoor amenities. Unfortunately, the home did not feel as clean or well-maintained as we had hoped, so while we enjoyed our visit, we would not choose to stay here again."

"This beautiful home is located about ten minutes from the heart of Oak Bluff. It's situated in a beautiful country setting. You can spend the day enjoying the beach, shopping, and dining. Then come home to a quiet, peaceful setting with a beautiful deck to enjoy your favorite wine or cocktail. This residence is spotless and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, and the house is quiet. Rebecca is an awesome host. Wonderful communication and instructions for accessing the property.
