Maybe we were the unlucky ones but we were welcomed with unswept floors, non-working toliet with a surprise from a previous unsuccessful flush, dead insects, and no hot water. "The hotel is wonderful, but the staff makes it that much more special. Andrea, who was at reception when we checked in, went out of her way to inform us about the sites and restaurants in the area. The owner, Kostantinos, is incredibly warm and welcoming. It's about a 20 to 25 minute walk from the port and the amazing Portara, and the room has a big balcony with a jacuzzi. There are many great restaurants within a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and there is sandy Saint George beach just 10 minutes away. There is also a very good supermarket about 5 minutes away."
