"Nowhere online does it tell you this hotel is under construction the outdoor pool was closed down the lazy river was the only thing open the rooms are clean but it is not an up-to-date facility the hallway is or definitely a three out of five not a place I would want my kids to run around barefoot"

"We had an amazing stay here! The location was absolutely perfect ... Being able to drive the golf cart to the beach made everything so easy and enjoyable. There was plenty to do nearby, and it was also super convenient to Coastal Carolina University.Watty was an incredible host - attentive, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. He provided great recommendations and was always accommodating to anything we needed. I had quite a few questions, and he always responded quickly and kindly, I never once felt like I was bothering him.The house had plenty of space for our entire family, which made the trip even more comfortable and relaxing.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"My partner and I stayed here this past fall and had a great time so we decided to come back two weeks ago - we were so looking forward to it! Upon arrival we checked in with the registration desk to get our pass. I showed them my id and my reservation, but they said we were not on the approved visitor's list and their policy would not allow us to access the rental. We texted the owner and also asked if they could reach her, but they don't keep that information unfortunately. We then had to pivot and find another place to rent. This was extremely unsettling and we ended up with a very disjointed stay. I would recommend this house, but make sure the Owner has you on the list, otherwise you will not be able to enter the property. We received a message from the Owner when we got home and she said she was dealing with a family situation, which I know must have been difficult, but we were very disappointed with the our vacation plans being totally dismantled. We did get a refund from VRBO and they also stated on the phone several times they would give us a credit for the rental cost as long as we provided receipts. I assumed this was due to the emotional difficulty of it all. I submitted receipts and VRBO has declined to follow through with their commitment. Nice house but be careful when booking. "

"Beautiful place amazing view. The owners are very friendly and if you have an issue they will address it. If you rent this property and need to use the pull out bed just make sure you bring extra pillows and blankets. They offer pillows and blankets for the bed only. Make sure you go to the breaker box and turn on the hot water heater we didnt realize we had to and we took cold showers. The place is clean and well kept. Worth the stay. "

"Great location. Close to rec center, pool, ocean, store, and dog park. Description of property is accurate. The owner, Leo, is very responsive. Property is great for large group - So much room to spread out. Kitchen well stocked. Ranch style was perfect for older individuals in our group - not many stairs to climb. Definitely could use a few small upgrades but beds were comfortable and shower water pressure adequate. Would definitely stay again! "
