"Villa ReviewOverall Impression:The villa appeared nice upon arrival and matched the online photos, offering the advertised three bedrooms. However, the stay was disappointing due to a lack of basic amenities, cleanliness issues, and unexpected additional costs.When we arrived:•No one was there to meet us or explain anything about the villa (like Wi-Fi info or how to get hot water).•There were no towels, and we didn’t get any until the next day (only four were provided).•No ironing board, and no garbage bins in any of the bathrooms — we got three bins the next day.•No kitchen garbage bags — those also came a day later.•No outdoor chairs for smokers; we finally got three after three days.•No gas for the stove when we arrived; that was fixed the next day.•No cleaning supplies at all (no mop, rags, or cleaning products).Cleanliness:The villa needed a deep clean. The kitchen drawers had crumbs and food bits, and the stove wasn’t clean. The furniture (bedheads, wardrobe doors, etc.) was dusty, and all three bathrooms — floors, tiles, and walls — were dirty. We ended up using our own antibacterial wipes to clean most of the house ourselves.TVs and Internet:All three bedroom TV remotes had no batteries, so we couldn’t use them. There was no regular TV service, and the Netflix account that was already signed in stopped working by Day 3. "On the 26th April 2025 Saturday afternoon, I went round Accra,looking for Peckan hotel's address at Nii Torgbor Avenue, East Legon Accra and I couldnt find the Str called Nii Torgbor avenue. I rang their mobile phone and it rang throughout with no answer. I got a bike man to take me round East Legon which we did and nobody knew where Pekan Hotel Accra was. We asked several people and not even one person knew Pekan Hotel. I decided to get into a big Restaurant to surf for another Hotels.com location and address, now getting to the evening hour. I found Joh Ann Western Guest House Accra on the platform. It says Mokwe Street Accra near Junction Mall Accra. Again, it was not an easy search. We decided to use google search and Sat nav to find it. After several trys, We found the hotels signboard very far from its location. Genuinely, we followed the signboard, which was their good guidance. At every 3minutes, you will see Joh Ann Western signboard guiding with an arrow. We followed the signboards, until we got to Joh Ann Western Guest House Hotel, Accra. The name of the street was not known. But the good thing was the constant guidance with the Joh Ann Western Guest House Hotel's signboards that leads to the Hotel. At last, around 8pm on 26th April 2025, I got into the hotel premises with a friend who helped me find the hotel. It was all a hectic search, But I eventually found your Hotels.com hotel to lodge and stay for a night as my booking states from 26th April 2025 to next day"
