"The property was beautifully decorated and walking distance to the lake. It was quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed for our little mini-vacation. Lynn was great to communicate with throughout the process. The only issue we had was the smoke detector was right at the oven so we set it off when we used the oven, so just stopped using the oven. If we book again, we would either eat out each meal or make meals that don’t involve the oven. Overall, the property was lovely."

"Very reasonable pricing and the host was flexible and highly communicative! The location is perfect (esp. if you are renting a boat from The Dock at Smith Mountain Lake ---just a 3 min drive away!) Quiet cove. Water was very very low, but we were still able to get out on the beach area and use their kayak to fish!"

"This is a great house right on the water at Smith Mountain Lake. We loved the four private bedrooms, ability to sleep a lot of guests, two living rooms, great kitchen, fire pit, patios, and other amenities. The property is in a great quiet location and protected from heavy water traffic. The host was responsive; we really didn’t have any needs during our stay."

"This was our family’s second stay at Fun Spot 3 and we will be back! The house is AMAZING and has everything anyone could ask for. Plenty of room for everyone (8 adults and 6 children) The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to cook family dinners. There are two side by side refrigerators as well as an ice maker. There is also a full size refrigerator in the downstairs bar. The lake view is beautiful and there is ample room for everyone on both the upper and lower decks. Our family’s favorite area was the spacious dock. Lots of room for play and swimming. Kayaks and paddle boards included. The house also has a theater room and pool table which we all enjoyed. One of the best things about this rental are the Hosts Kylor and Susan. Super helpful and always available. Our family have stayed at many different VRBOs and this one is by far the best and our favorite!"

"Loved staying in this adorable condo. It was the perfect place for me to stay for my daughter’s wedding weekend at a location 20 minutes away. Communication was seamless. I loved sitting on the patio, waking up with tea in the morning and watching the water. Although I was busy at another location I had everything that I needed in the evening in this condo. I hope to come back for a getaway. A Thanks to the hosts."
