3 bedroom lake-view villa at Southern Dunes golf and country club which is available for you and your family to rent. This home with private pool benefits from an outstanding plot overlooking a lake in this secure, gated golf estate close to Disney and all the central Florida attractions. Southern Dunes - A great golfing holiday location close to Disney. Southern Dunes is situated on highway 27, close to interstate 4 and highway 192. Good experience.
2nd time renting this house. Plenty of room for the two of us and for occasional guests. Lovely view of the lake. While the appliances are older, they all worked fine. Some minor mould around the tub in the bathroom off the master bedroom. Wish the TV was larger for the sake of our older eyes. Great location. Overall, we were very pleased with the house and would recommend it to anyone looking to rent in Southern Dunes

This is the second year weve rented this house and loved it both times! Definitely plan on renting again. Very convenient location. House has everything you need and with walmart and aldis just outside the community stocking up is easy as pie!

This property was clean and spacious. Exactly what we were looking for. It could use a few small repairs/upgrades but overall we were extremely satisfied. It served its purpose and the boys loved having a private pool.

Property was perfect for us and our two young boys. We had nearby family over with their three young kids and infant. They all had a blast in the pool and it was great having a playpen to set the baby in during the chaos of getting five children changed in or out of their swim suits. Great location for quick shopping at Walmart just outside the gate.

The house was good though in need of some minor TLC. There are places that need a fresh coat of paint. The information online about the house led me to believe that bathroom linens were provided; however, what was provided was 1 bath towel in each bathroom. Thus, I had to purchase additional bathroom linens. I would recommend some instructions on the tv. It took me a while to figure out which remote turned the tv on and how to change the channels. I also had to figure out how to use the oven, probably because the stove appears to be a little older. It would have been nice to be able to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room as it was quite warm in the house while I was there.

Cockroaches in dishwasher. Killed cockroaches in dishwasher on 3 mornings. Black bugs crawling on kitchen counter near sink in mornings. We only ate breakfasts in condo which consisted of milk and cereal. Was surprised at foreign currency charge on my credit card statement. Property is located in U S, price quoted in dollars when I selected the property. No mention of this fee at time I selected it. This should be an expense of the property owner.

Just wasn't for us
Well I must say walking into this property there were alot of flies. Inside and out. Previous renters must have left the door open alot because we had to get alot of them out. The garbage can outside need to be bleached out. Majority of the flies were coming from there. Loud parties from people on the street that went on from about 9PM until 4 AM. My daughter had to call security and the cops because one of those thugs was trying to break in once they saw our vehicle was gone when we went to the store. There were people walking up and down the street all night and parked all along the side of the street. We left a day early and won't be back here. We felt uncomfortable and wanted to get a good night rest without the noise from the frat house block parties.

It’s a Beautiful place with pool, views and Bugs.
Really impressed with the Villa, had to pay extra for the heated pool, Grill was missing as in description, but the rental company brought one right out. But this place has Cockroaches Bad! Owner was very attentive to our needs. Not sure about the bugs.

Clean, lovely view, well-appointed home
This was a nearly perfect place for our stay in Florida. We wanted to rest and relax away from all of the bustle of traffic and responsibilities at home. The "nearly" part comes from the fact that we paid extra for the pool to be heated and it was not. We had hoped to float and relax in it, but it was too cold.

Nice, quiet area for a getaway
We enjoyed our stay at this villa. The owner was very responsive and the heated pool was perfect during the cooler nights. Everything we needed was conveniently located right outside the gated community. The only downsides were the medium frying pans were beginning to peel so we had to use the small pans and the vents and the wall surrounding it were dusty. A vacuum with an attachment brush would clean it right off. Overall, we were happy with this villa and would stay here again.

I loved the house and loved the neighborhood! Perfect everything you need is conveniently in the neighborhood or close by! The house is lovely well maintained only complaint the kids had was no tv in their rooms but they got over it bc they could use their phones for Netflix if they weren’t swimming! In the winter I recommend paying extra for the pool heating that was nice especially once the sun went down! I will definitely return if my little family comes back to FL I’ll never stay in Orlando again Haines City all the way it’s close to Disney and Tampa but just not too busy!

Overall this is a good place for the price. Plenty of towels and the master bed is huge and comfortable. The pool is advertised as heated but upon arrival I find that it cost extra to heat it. I didn’t see this as an option when booking and it takes two days to heat up so the kids were disappointed. No pot big enough to boil anything in in the kitchen (ie. macaroni), and there is what looks to be black mold coming out of the vents and up to a foot out on some.

Clean and quiet
We loved the house was very clean and neighborhood was very quiet. Nice view of lake but it does not give you a sunrise view that we were expecting.the only real complaint I would have is the air conditioning was not to be turned down below 75 degrees ,so it got very warm in the hours at time. But for location it is great,Walmart is right out side gate and Disney and Universal is only a short drive.
