Perhaps tell guests to bring their own drinking water bc the water smells awful and it's probably from a well. Just set expectations and all will be right! Also, please provide a map to the bear bin. We felt like we were using a neighbor's bin. "

"What a perfect places for a little getaway. Close to the beach and so quiet and peaceful. Kevin was great to work with and we will definitely be staying here again. "

"I was searching for a quiet, low key vacation to enjoy with my children and definitely found the perfect place. Being our first time renting a house that was only accessible by boat we weren’t sure what to expect. The house is laid out very well for the modest footprint and never felt crowded even when we had some additional guests. The children spent hours swimming and fishing around the dock with plenty of sunfish and small bass to keep them entertained. The dock height was a little too high for my small runabout boat so I would definitely recommend bringing a couple extra fenders. Passing boats tend to send a bit of rolling wake by the time it reaches the island. Weirs Beach, Alton, and Wolfeboro are all a pleasant cruise away and offer nice restaurants and a change of scenery. Lastly, on the recommendation of the host Kevin I launched from the town marina in Gilford. It’s a well run ramp with an attendant during the day and plenty of parking right next to the Marine Patrol Station. Overall an amazing place to spend a week!"
