This new, 3 bedroom 3.5 bathroom custom-built home has been professionally designed and decorated, and offers high-end finishes and attention to detail throughout. INSIDE THE HOME

MAIN FLOOR
The open-plan living area features a large fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, and comfortable living room, providing ample space for everyone to gather together. Enjoy the patio off the living room where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood in the warm weather. The main floor features a primary suite with a king bed, stone fireplace, large closet and ensuite. The lower floor offers guests a secondary suite with a comfortable queen bed, and ensuite with a walk-in shower and a double guest room with twin beds. Both bedrooms have access to the lower patio and outdoor seating.

Tucked away in North Tahoe's Martis Valley, the Schaffer's Mill community is conveniently located between Northstar and historical, downtown Truckee. Northstar is a short drive away and offers a plethora of summer and winter activities for all ages. Downtown Truckee is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the area looking for local shopping, dining, and entertainment and if you're looking for a water adventure, stunning Lake Tahoe is just a few minutes away!

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Schaffer's. The team at Tahoe Sig Properties went above and beyond to help, communicate and fix anything that came up. There were a few minor house things like a tub issue but were dealt with easily. We couldn't have had a better time and hope to do it again next summer. Thanks again!

Great property for a ski trip

This is a well-appointed property that is conveniently located to Truckee and Northstar and easy to get to. The house was very spacious and well-stocked with all the kitchen items. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of outside amenities like golf course, spa, tennis courts, pool, etc. but imagine these enhance the stay experience even more so during the summer. Property management team was incredibly responsive. Two considerations for enhancement: the checkout time of 10am is very early based on even hotel standards; the house could be more stocked with games and family play equipment based on my experience of staying at other similar properties of this caliber.

Great Location Near Northstar at Tahoe

All was well, clean and comfortable. Note, the light to the right of the garage door is out and needs replacing. It is hard to see the address. All else is very nice.

Great place to relax close to the ski areas!

This property is well managed and very comfortable. The location is great, easy to get to and an easy drive to Squaw Valley. Super quite neighborhood and nice place to go for walks. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc..... Beds were super comfortable.

We had a wonderful long weekend. The condo was lovely clean and conveniently located near Northstar. Others reviews remarked lack of wine glasses. Happy to say there are plenty of nice wine glasses to use. The downstairs shower was not working and we received a very generous refund which speaks to great customer service! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the unit! Very cozy and comfortable and pretty views from the upper deck. We stayed in mid February for a week with our adult kids to celebrate a late Christmas. The house fit us perfectly for 6 adults. We had some issues but they were rectified by Tahoe Signature Properties. Of note, the kitchen knives are dangerously dull and they really need to replace the skillet pans with non stick. We spent too much time trying to clean them! We will definitely book this unit again.

My family of four had an amazing stay! The place was immaculate when we arrived and well stocked. Proximity to downtown Truckee, the new Raley's and the lake make it a fantastic location. The hosts were very quick to respond to one small issue that was easily resolved. Will definitely book again!

Our stay at Schaffer's Mill was wonderful and relaxing. It was unfortunate the air quality due to the smoke kept us inside more than we expected. We spent a lot of time on the deck, however, we will keep in mind next time we rent, the height of the railing. We were unable to adequately see over and enjoy the golf course! It was quite frustrating and unenjoyable. The townhouse was well equipped with most everything we needed. We look forward to being at Schaffer's Mill again next year --or earlier!

Perfect home for a relaxing vacation

The condo was perfect! We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is nicely furnished, very clean and has all the amenities you can ask for. The location is quiet and provides easy access to North Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll definitely stay here again during our next visit.

Nice home in great community. Very clean and quiet. The amenity charges are very high given the COVID related limitations. The rental agency was very accommodating. The prior review about wine glasses should be considered. What the owner regards to be stemless wine glasses are juice glasses. Luxury accommodation warrants real wine glasses.

We enjoyed staying at the Shaffer's Mill home. My only comment is that towels were in short supply . . . We would have appreciated having more bathroom towels, as well as kitchen towels. Other than this one thing, it was a lovely home and we very much enjoyed staying there.

We’ve been coming to Tahoe for years and we’d definitely rent this property again . Everything was clean, tidy and super comfortable. My favorite part was the balcony where we’d eat breakfast overlooking the view of the golf course each day.
