"The cabin was very well equipped. We were very relaxed and cozy staying here. The fireplace was helpful in staying warm. The kitchen is well set up. There were many good books to select a good read from. Lighting, fireplace, hottub and all other features were set up with very helpful information. I highly recommend this property."

"We very much enjoyed an impromptu weekend escape to this adorable little cabin. If we had wanted to cook more there was everything we needed. But we ate out and Bracebridge is nice and close. There was nothing we felt was missing. The weather wasn’t great so we ended up exploring up to Huntsville too. The cabin was immaculately clean. We would definitely stay again. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate and we can have a fire. The only recommendation I have is that more detail be included...

"We loved the peacefulness of the river being right there. I loved that downtown was so close. But it felt like being faraway. Only problem with our age was all the stairs. Our one pet had to be carried up. Which was hard to do. Other then that awesome stay. Loved it"

"Mike's place was just right for our girls weekend. This cute place had everything we needed. The outdoor firepit was fun & the sauna came in handy on a chilly day. Mike was easy to communicate with and sorted out anything we needed very quickly. The Screaming Heads in Burk's Falls is a must see in the area! We will definitely be returning."

"My husband and I (and our dog) stayed here for our anniversary weekend. It was very clean when we arrived and smelled like pine. Super cozy! As other reviews mentioned the doors are a hard to close but it’s doable! Not a problem at all. And as far as the “close to the road” it’s not a problem at all. I think we saw 3-4 cars go by the entire weekend. Very quiet road! "We were very happy with the place. Peaceful, nice, and close to everything. Well supplied kitchen, good barbecue, and way more beds than we needed. Place has a basketball hoop, a volleyball court, and enough green space to place soccer with a small group of people. The river is good for swimming, shallow in the shore but deep as you jump from the dock. Everything was clean and in working order. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay at this place."
