"We enjoyed staying here for our family weekend away! It was cozy and we loved the decor (especially the wooden countertop ). The beds were comfortable and the house seems to have everything that you’d need. I loved the water source above the stove, it was too cool! The communication was great and we will definitely be back! Just a heads up to anyone who may be arriving at night like we did, it’s off of a main road and is somewhat hard to find in the dark. Look for the pink garbage can by the road. When you pull in, it’s a somewhat long and very dark drive down the driveway to get to the house. They do have motion lights once you get close to the house which was nice. Would for sure recommend this place! "

"Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. We also got to go to Mackinac Island, which was really cool to see the horse and buggy all of the bikes and we got to see the arch rock so cool to see in person well worth the drive. The house was good felt clean the only thing the house could use a little sprucing up and a brand new showerhead in the bathroom but we would stay there again."

"Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. Michigan was a pleasant place and Lyndsey was a great host and responded un a timely manner. Loved the theme, movie room and secret room. Beds were comfortable. "

"The property was great. Lots of places to hike and explore. The lake was beautiful with crystal clear water. The bottom was sandy but due to the Lilly pads and weeds if you wanted to swim you need to get in at the end of the dock. Fishing was good with a lot of nice bass and a few northern pike 20-30 inches. There were 2 canoes 2 kayaks and a rowboat along with life vests. But be aware you may need to share because there are 2 other places to rent on the property. The Ranger house was well stocked with what you need and the water was good. Everything worked fine. There is a dishwasher which was a bonus since it wasn’t listed in the booking. Our group had a great time and would book again."
